Alicent had no choice in her marriage I can understand why Rhenyra is angry about it, but she shouldn't hold it against her. She is an angsty teen and I cant stand the way she acts at the end. (She was literally reading while listening to sad music repeatedly like my younger sister when shes mad.) She walks into camp like "#Girlboss" after doing nothing but putting herself and Sir Cole in danger, then stabbing an already dying animal repeatedly. I do like her character but in this part of the series she drives me nuts.

Does he provide his own dragon, or does he ride a government dragon? When a dragonrider goes postal, does s/he just pull up at the barracks with their dragon, and start throwing flames? I have many questions.

2024-02-29 02:38:46 +0000 UTCThe actor that plays both Lannister twins is the actor that was in season one of GOT, the squire that the Mountain killed at the joust before Ned could talk to him. Otto is thinking several steps ahead. Aegon is way too young to marry and reproduce, and by the time he is, Rhaenera will be too old to reproduce by the standards of this world. Or at least too old to guarantee an heir. When that time comes, the argument could be made that she's too old and maybe they should make Aegon king instead, since he has plenty of time to produce heirs. And in the meantime, she remains unmarried with no potential king consort to screw with Otto's plans. Daemon did this war to prove himself, which he cannot do if he gets help from his brother. So yeah, he was VERY upset at the offer. Basically figured he would do it alone or die trying. The dragon that Laenor Velaryon rides is Sea Smoke, he blends in with the clouds and smoke, which is why they used him for this sneak attack. The symbolism of both Rhaenera and Daemon being covered in blood this episode is interesting to me. Remember, the sword that Daemon carries is Dark Sister, a Valerian steel sword that was originally carried by Visenya, sister-wife of Aegon the Conqueror. Those swords are sharp and strong, easy to cut a man in half.
