Editing starts tonight, should have an episode by the end of day tomorrow! I may do watch alongs for the last couple episodes, but I also may just do super extended cuts with most footage included. Early to mid next week once they’re all done and posted we’ll be doing a big end of show livestream, take questions, ask you guys questions, rank characters, and watch some random YouTube stuff you guys have wanted us to 😂 Got a nice steady flow of Shows and Movies planned to start afterwards (obviously House of the Dragon will finally be upon us!) We’ll talk about all that next week, but the next 4 videos will be the final GOT and of course Midnight Mass Monday 💜🫡

I had hoped she would overcome it but being Game of Thrones I should’ve known better. I’m ok enough with everything with where Dany ended up, it was dramatic and impactful and I think definitely foreshadowed. I just didn’t like Jon loving her so much in the first place (didn’t really feel earned to me, it just seemed to happen for sake of the plot) my biggest problem is Bran and everything after. Also Cersei not getting a more violent death and Jamie choosing to not redeem himself 😂

She had been threatening to burn cities since season 2, and the reason why people didn't take it seriously was because she was just a girl with no army and two small dragons. She had been committing acts of cruelty since the early seasons of the show, and people gave her a pass, because they agreed with her choice of victim. The point isn't that they deserved it, though. The point is that she had the capacity for cruelty ever since she watched her brother get himself killed, and it wasn't taken seriously because she was righteous, a crusader, she killed people that were generally disliked and she was "just a girl", something the show points out repeatedly, not just for her, but for every female character from Arya to Cersei to Dani, hell, even to Brienne of all people. It's a misogynistic world they live in and the writers played off the audience's own internalized misogyny to make the turn seem unexpected when in fact the signs were always there and there was a 7 season slide which culminated in the loss of her friends and her children, and the realization that it had all been based on the lie that she was wanted and needed in Westeros. The writers didn't do her dirty, they did what they had been doing since Ned lost his head.

It is really worth while and the ONLY spoilers i will say is that Bran does worg into a dragon (as you hoped) and Aryia does her face magic to be one of the main characters. I’m sure I’m spelling those wrong.

All ASOIAF shows are on the shelf besides HOTD, Dunk and Egg (Knight of the Seven Kingdoms... which will be freaking amazing I'm sure. One of my favorite stories in the ASOIAF world). And an eventual Film on Aegon's Conquest. Those are the only ones currently in the works. Really do hope the Snow show eventually gets made though. It's a good way to *maybe* retcon some things, and maybe Jon actually deals with the true "Others".

" *Literally murdered the King he was supposed to protect to save the people off Kings Landing* *EDIT* So yeah Cersei being killed by falling rubble isn't what anyone wanted for her but it would have been much more bearable if she was alone in that moment.

She got such an easy way out with the writing. 2nd …REALLY BRAN?! BRAN AS FUCKING KING?? That has to be the stupidest choice of writing I’ve ever seen. I do t give a shit if is the raven he literally barely did anything the hull 8 seasons in general let alone to deserve to be king. In fact his character story had to be the weakest of them all to the point it was pointless . Literally everything would still be moving forward as a story without him when it comes to how he was written. Probably was written waaaaayyy better in the books is my guess . But from show writing the writers sucked! You can’t convince me him being king of all kings in the end made ANY sense and DESERVED…..

Only saving grace to the ending was the fight between the hound and the mountain, least they gave us that. Can't wait for you to watch House of the Dragons:)

I do love seasons 1-6, 7 was good, and it overall was a great show with an out of character ending. HOTD definitely revamped my enjoyment of this world and it is a very good show

Then the amount of plot armour and just stupidity of certain things like your telling me, GREY WORM, would not kill Jon after that?? or Drogon? People say it’s a Targaryen thing but that was his mother and his rider. Deepest connection of all. And Grey Worm was so loyal, even after everything dany did. Also to me these last two seasons are just a mess, so much inconsistency in the world and writing and the fact that Cersei was like the final boss. The white walkers were teased for years as the great threat only to die in one episode.

Like my top 3 have anakin and jinx but it was just done so poorly that it became unbelievable. Also early season Bran had such great potential for a future king but another thing that just needed time and development to work.

People were way too harsh mostly because they were stuck on seeing Dany on the throne.. But I’ve told people since it aired, “If you didn’t think Daenerys wasn’t going to go crazy at the end then you weren’t paying attention, because they telegraphed that from the very beginning..”

I wish they would have allowed more time with Arya and Gendry so their relationship didn’t end so awkward. Gendry is one of my favorite characters so I was happy he got to be Lord of Storm’s End and a leader on the council.

Kings Landing was the wheel. She wasn't the "mad queen" as many tried to call her, but someone who had everything taken from her. From her parents and siblings, to Khal Drogo and her baby, to Ser Barristan and Viserion, Jorah, Rhaegal and Missandei. It was grief and anger, not madness.
