2024-01-21 21:59:19 +0000 UTCTechnically the book isn't 100% going to do R+L=J, its just the most likely outcome (as in, 99% sure). There are still some book reader holdouts that actually its N+A=J (aka, Ned with Ashara Dayne (sister of one of the Kingsguard at the Tower of Joy) and a few even think other things (some of which are... wild, let's say). Its a shame the show cut out quite a few characters. Namely Griff and Young Griff, who's plot is entirely missing from the show.

And Battlestar Galactica would also be cool, the newer ish one that starts with a two part mini series. Or Stargate Universe - that one starts with the military kidnapping a gamer to help them decode ancient alien tech…
