I didn't even feel comftorable saying that just now. However, Oberyn's Paramour and Daughter did take part in an innocent child's death, so they asked for it. Oberyn has 8 Bastard Daughters...That is crazy. He only had 4 of them with her though. Lady Olenna went out like a "G", for real. At least she drank the poison first, so she couldn't be tortured. She's a teenage girl trying to make sure she's not underestimated and she's respected so she's being firm and direct and leveraging what power she does have (her name, her dragons, and her armies) to stand her ground against threats. Fuckass Jon just rolls up like "You're not my queen, and I need you to go kill zombies and dragons." Her saying "um, no, you crazy person" is totally reasonable and asking him to honor his family's pledge of fealty is reasonable, too. It's really hypocritical for Jon to be saying "I'm not beholden to the vows of my ancestor" when he's been so ridiculously obsessed with honor to his own detriment the whole show. I'm just saying, Dany has done more for the world at this point than Jon. She's saved millions of lives and has every intention (and has proven it over and over) of being a just and kind leader who listens to the people around her. Jon is rash, emotional, a poor strategist, and has lost every battle he's ever been in (only to be saved by Stannis and then Sansa/Littlefinger). His own people mutinied and killed him. This is honestly the only reason I don't like the last couple of seasons. The show-writing has a little to do with it but the fan turn on Dany because she starts being more ambitious and militaristic is so hard to watch. TT

2024-01-05 20:58:21 +0000 UTCI see you've noticed some of the inconsistencies that begin to crop up in season 7. There's a lot more...hm...Fast Travel? People in one place and then immediately in another place? The dialog slips considerably, and the plot suffers a bit. Not as much as it suffers in the last 3 episodes of season 8, but a bit. I think season 7 is still pretty enjoyable despite all of that, but it definitely suffers for not having book material to go on.

I love The actor that plays Jamie and flatout love his armor but character wise I hate. This has been a great start to the year on this channel….i guess I’ll have to check out midnight mass after I check out season one of HOTD week so I can watch those reactions.

Also remember the wight walkers walked through fire so only wights can be burned by the dragons. Danys brother Rhaegar is Jon's dad. Also theres a parralell that Dany notices about Jon & Rhaegar. Sir Barristan said that Rhaegar hated killing, even though he was good at it, same as Jon, who also hates what he's good at.
