Its so good. Bridgette's first time watching.

HOT FUZZ (2007) | UNCENSORED REACTION

I know this sounds weird, and I wouldn't ask this for any other movie. Do you think you can react to the movie a second time? This movie radically changes on the 2nd watch through.

If you like Simon and Nick together, then you should know that they had a 14 episode series in 1999, called "Spaced." Well worth the watch! I love BritComs. A couple of my favorites, besides "Spaced," are "Black Books" and "Green Wing."

Finally, the HF is referring to Hot Fuzz but its in the style of a regional police district code (though in reality they use numbers, its an Australian code to use letters and there's no HF apparently).

Also I'm always amused when people struggle with the accents in this movie - because this is close to my local accent (that I thankfully don't have very strongly). I can fully understand the older cop's speech (though he is mumbling on purpose) and just able make out the old farmer. Most of the cast do a good job mimicking a broad westcountry accent even though most aren't from these parts. And yeah, the whole movie does sum up rural England pretty well. Even though its obviously exaggerated and parodied - its very familiar. The movie was filmed in a town not that far from my city and I'm pretty sure I've been there before when I was younger - but towns like this are all over the country.

Its called the Cornetto trilogy as a bit of a joke. The movies are linked by only three things: the director, the main cast and the fact at some point in each movie a Cornetto ice cream shows up (each with a different colour wrapper linking to the movie - strawberry red for Shaun of the Dead, vanilla blue for Hot Fuzz and green... mint, I think?... for The World's End).

Hey guys I haven't watched this reaction yer but I noticed my name wasn't at the beginning. Anyway I've upped my membership to the maximum one so hopefully they'll be OK 👍

I love your guys’ comedy reactions! have you watched what we do in the shadows? I feel like y’all would love it, I’d love to see your reactions to it 🦇🖤

Sabrina

I’m a Brit (lives in the US now) but a cornetto is an ice cream cone similar to I guess, a drumstick cone here (although cornettos are nicer) and they’ve featured in hot fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.

The Neighbourhood Watch Alliance or NWA was on purpose.. also the guy that stabbed Simon Pegg was Peter Jackson aka the Lord of the rings director! the trolley boy is the hound from game of thrones! this film to me is equal to shaun of the dead in pure brilliance

Hot Fuzz has always been my fave of the trilogy, and you should definitely watch The World's End. TWE is Simon Pegg's favorite role he's ever played. I don't think I've come across a single reactor to Hot Fuzz that spots the blatant homage to the Baz Luhrman Romeo + Juliet movie (down to the Cardigans' "Lovefool," which became a huge hit when R+J came out). I guess a lot of people just haven't seen it and/or were too young to be interested when it came out.

Pam Nail

this is one of my favorites!!!

Kelsey

Definitely watch World’s End!!!

Ciara Armstrong

I didn’t find this out until editing and it blew my fucking mind

Simon Pegg & Nick Frost are such a legendary duo, never miss

Gunnar

A reaction to World's end would be absolutely fantastic!

Simon Pegg is one of the best comedy writers in the world, I think - he has a way of writing characters who are SO dumb but in the best and most realistic ways possible? lol Also you've gotta watch Point Break! It's the best :V I've never actually watched the third one in this trilogy? But of the two I have seen, I definitely enjoyed Hot Fuzz more as a movie, overall. PS: The "Cornetto trilogy" refers to those cone-shaped ice creams that you'll see characters (usually Nick Frost's character) eating - closest approximation would be like... Drumsticks over here, I think. It started out as a gag by Simon and the director Edgar Wright with Shaun of the Dead to try to scam some more free ice cream for the next movie, but it didn't work XD

Rue

one of my favorite movies. period! so so funny, if you guys want to rewatch shaun of the dead and/or the world’s end (not sure if you’ve seen it), I’d love to see your reactions! My favorite movies by Edgar Wright for sure 🖤 hot fuzz def tops the list tho

Sabrina

Shoutout to The Hound…
