Rewatching this episode with y'all, I just realized something about something. I won't mention it 'cause we're not to it yet, but I will when you get there! Also, I know that everything's pointing to Nat and Travis hooking up with each other after they were rescued from the crash (it's only a teeny little flashback in a previous ep, but it's from Nat's POV and it's of Travis all grown up and naked in bed *with her* soooo - they kinda didn't leave any doubt, imo), but idk - unless he's got some super secret, soft hidden depths or something, he's mostly just coming off as this crushingly awkward nerd who's insecure about basically everything, but simultaneously moodier than all get out (I get he and Javi lost their dad, but why take that out on Nat, y'know?). It feels like the writers want the relationship to come off as like starcrossed lovers or something and it's just mostly giving bad Twilight - which sucks, because I love Nat and she deserves better than a butthead like Travis.
