To clarify the case of characters in case you didn't pick it up: Julie Gardner was the "Julie" of the Ballad of Russell and Julie. They spoke to Phil Collison (producer) and Russell T Davies on the phone - and what old phones, it was all prior to the smart phones etc.

Blackpool is a seaside resort on the west coast of the north of England - or the west coast of the middle of the UK, whichever way you look at it. The nearest thing we have to Las Vegas but with much more changeable weather.
