It's not in the category but I'm suggesting 'The Bad Seed' 1956. Don't think anyones reacted to it yet. If not see it on your own. 8 year Rhoda Penmark (Patty McCormack) is one of the all time great film psychopaths. She was nominated for an Oscar. It looks kind of like a play because it ran as one for a year before they filmed it with the same cast. I can almost guarantee Rhoda would become one of your fave film characters.
