Status Update

I will release the previously announced animated video later this week. The full version is about 3 minutes long. I’ll also release a matching comic alongside it, but the comic mainly focuses on the process of putting on a skinsuit and doesn’t really have much of a storyline. There probably won’t be any new updates for the rest of the month, though I might post some standalone images or very short clips.

I think many of you have probably noticed that my recent works haven’t been very satisfying—I'm not satisfied with them either. Whether it's the storyline, the way the skinsuit theme is handled, or the expressions and dialogues of the characters, everything has felt a bit off. I know this might sound like an excuse, but for the past few years, I’ve been consistently producing over 350 pages of long-form comic plus around 100 pages of short bonus stories every month. At the same time, I also have a full-time job and family responsibilities to take care of, and I’m honestly starting to feel quite exhausted.

I had actually planned to propose to my girlfriend last year, but work kept getting in the way, and I’ve kept putting it off until now.

I had thought about taking a month off to rest before, but the reality is that I can’t easily give up the income I get from my sponsorship platforms. However, I’ve come to realize that if the quality of my work keeps declining, the long-term drop in support and income could end up being worse than taking a break—or even worse than piracy.

So I want to take some time to slow down, finally go ahead with the proposal, read more novels, explore other storylines, and just give myself a chance to relax. That’s why this month’s update is simply a skinsuit-wearing sequence without a plot—I didn’t want to force myself to come up with a whole story this time. I think taking this break will ultimately help my future creations be better, rather than continuing to push myself and end up with uninspired stories that I’m not proud of.

I hope to rest a bit and come back with works that are more exciting, more satisfying, and ones that you’ll all really enjoy.

我会在这周内发布之前预告过的动画视频，完整版大约3分钟，同时也会一起发布跟它配套的漫画，不过这个漫画基本就是纯粹的穿皮的过程，没什么剧情，这个月后面可能就不会更新新的内容了，也可能会更新一些单图或者很短的片段。

我想你们应该也感觉到了，我最近的作品都不怎么让人满意，包括我自己在做完之后也觉得不太满意，无论是剧情还是关于皮物的玩法，还是对于人物表情和对话的描述上都不在状态，虽然看起来像在找借口，但是过去几年我一直保持着每个月350页以上的长篇加一个100页左右的短篇的制作，同时我自己还有工作的事情要做，还有家庭的事情要处理，确实感觉到有点累了。

我在去年就计划向我的女朋友求婚，因为工作太忙一直拖到现在还没有，我之前就想过要不要停一个月休息一下，但是很现实的理由是我没法放弃赞助网站带给我的收入，但我意识到如果我的创作质量不断降低，最终带来的收入下降是会比暂停和盗版都严重的。

所以我想沉淀一下，先把婚求了，然后多去看一些小说，看一些其他的剧情，顺便放松一下自己。所以这个月就只做了这个纯粹的穿皮的过程，不去想剧情或者其他的那些，放松一下脑子，我觉得这样会有利于我后面的创作，而不是一直像之前那样强行更新，结果故事也不够精彩，我自己也不满意，我希望能休息一下，后面做出更好的能让大家喜欢的作品。
