Figure Drawing: Week 13
Added 2018-01-23 14:00:59 +0000 UTCI was late to this class by about 10-15 minutes because I got caught up doing some raids in Pokemon Go :-[ AND IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.
I thought βOh, itβs not going to be a big deal being a little late. How notable could the model be?"
ONE OF THE MODELS WAS PREGNANT. Super pregnant. In about a week she was meant to be due? So that meant that her modeling was split in half with another guy, because of course it would be difficult to have her do complicated poses. But man was everyone eager to draw her. You donβt get pregnant models often!! Even the instructor leaving from the previous session stuck around to draw her a bit.
So I missed some of her poses, and it was made worse because she was going to leave early and be replaced with someone else!! JUST ANOTHER NORMIE GUY. Oh well :(
(He was fine and great, I was just kicking myself for missing this opportunity)
They were alternating initially before the pregnant model was fully replaced in the second-half of the session, so I basically came in right as she was finishing up with the 1s/2s, and he came in to do the 5s.
I liked that he wasnβt muscly!

I got so angry by a measurement mistake I did in her 20-minute pose that I used the remaining time to re-sketch her torso again. The arm relative to the breast was messed up :l THIS IS WHY YOU MEASURE GUYS EKDFHDKHFDG
2-minute poses. She left now so we were left with the second model, who was good!

I felt terribly frustrated with these 20-minute poses, I was getting depressed again about my abilities :l THIS HAPPENS OFTEN HUH. Especially with male models sob
It was cool having a hairy guy, though. Very notable session!
