Page Deconstruction #3: Clean Slate

Page 9: Some differences in poses are interesting in this, as well as different dialogue.
Abbey’s mocking of Paulo in the fourth panel is notable, Jasmine takes a totally different tone in panel 3!
Page 10: My favourite part of doing comics is getting to a page where the dialogue STILL hasn’t been finallised! It doesn’t often happen, but there are times I legit can’t think of what to write in a panel, I’ll have an idea but not something solid enough, so you get little notes like on the first panel where I’m trying to inspire Souppy to come up with something for me. I don’t like doing that because I’m impatient and if HE’S uninspired, then I get really agitated. Because I want to “WORK ON THE PAGE NOWWWWW” and I don’t like leaving things unfinished.
That hasn’t been the case in recent times. I now write scripts in my spare time when I’m feeling inspired so there’s never really a time where I’m sketching out a page and don’t know what to write in a certain panel anymore.
Page 11: I like the original 83 expression on the second-to-last panel, though I’m still really happy with the final choice. Look at that blue-line sketch of Jasmine behind the trash!! Drawn fully like she should be!
A pretty basic first sketch on this one.
Page 12: I’m great at sketching cars out.
