BTS GLEE 03X14???

Comments

Several scenes were filmed but not included in the final broadcast, including a promotional scene with Quinn confront Rachel about the wedding telling her "I'm not going to sit around and watch you ruin your life by marrying Finn Hudson", a scene during Regionals where Rachel and Finn’s parents tried to stop the wedding, and a scene with Sue revealing her pregnancy. Other cut scenes involved female cast members in a bridal shop (which Lea Michele tweeted about the scene taking hours to film), and a discussion between Kurt and Blaine about Karofsky. Glee co-creator Ian Brennan had a cameo as a Regionals judge. He plays the vampire, Svengoobles. The storyline involving Dave Karofsky's attempted s*icide due to bullying was inspired by a cast appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. This storyline received mixed reactions but the scenes with Karofsky and Kurt were praised. During and after the original airing of this episode, calls and chat messages to the Trevor Project, an LGBT suicide prevention organization, grew by 300%. Dianna Agron was informed about Quinn's car crash storyline in advance and helped develop it. The idea for a texting-while-driving accident had been considered earlier. The scene of Quinn's crash was used in a PSA. The episode's title refers to Quinn's last text. This is the first time out of the first three seasons that Kurt has performed at Regionals and won. This was also the first time that Rachel performed a solo at a competition and did not introduce the New Directions to the audience. Only Mercedes, Santana, Brittany and Sugar are in all the songs at Regionals. Mitch Grassi from Pentatonix was one of the Golden Goblets. This is the first time since season 2 episode 11 that we see Quinn in a Cheerio’s uniform. Lea Michele also has a song on her debut album “Louder” with the same name as the episode’s title. There are also some mistakes that can be seen in this episode. 1. When the New Directions say "What?" because Rory hasn't tasted peanut butter, it was shown that Rory was holding a spoon but when he stood up he was not holding anything. 2. When Rachel reads the text message from Quinn saying, "Ran home to get my bridesmaids dress. Be there soon." her phone shows that it's Feb 9, 2012 and 11:01 PM. Just before this, there’s a clock on the wall that says it's 4:55 PM, and the Regionals/Finchel wedding takes place after Valentine's Day. In addition, when Rachel texts Quinn later, Quinn's phone shows the time as 4:41 PM. 3. When Rachel texts Quinn saying "HURRY UP!!" she sends another text message later saying "where are you" the message "HURRY UP!!" isn't in the thread and it comes after Quinn's text. 4. After The Warblers sing "Stand," the stage lights focus on Sebastian only. However, the next shot shows the lights are back to normal; after that the stage lights are focused back on Sebastian again. 5. When Quinn is talking to Sue for the first time in the episode in Sue's office, Quinn rises from her chair but when the scene flicks to Sue's side, Quinn is seated back down on her chair. 6. After the New Directions are announced the winners, Sugar runs to hug Svengoobles, but in the next shot she's seen cheering with the rest of the New Directions. 7. Quinn's VW Beetle doesn't have a front license plate which were required at the time in Ohio. 8. Quinn's driver’s side back window doesn't crack but the front one does. 9. In Season 2, it is established that Dalton Academy had a zero-tolerance policy for bullying which Kurt says in season 2 episode 8 is regularly enforced. However, when Sebastian is reported to Dalton's headmaster both times, they do absolutely nothing about it, as Blaine mentions in this episode. At the start of What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger), you can see Santana's hand moving up, then when it zooms in on her, within less than a second, her hand is down along the rest of her body. Between 0:42 and 0:46 of the song, Santana's hairband slips down her head, and it looks like she has a ponytail. Also, when Santana is singing the bridge, you can see a camerawoman behind her. At 28:45 of the episode, you can see Mercedes mess up her hand gesture.

Hope this isn't too spoilery since you may have genuinely forgotten some of this. The teen suicide storyline and the public service announcement broadcast during the episode for The Trevor Project, an organization that works to prevent LGBTQIA+ suicide, resulted in a record number of calls to the project's hotline and record traffic for its website. According to co-founder Peggy Rajski, because the show "worked in conjunction" with them, they were prepared in advance to handle the greater hotline traffic, which was "triple the usual number of calls". They also saw a nearly sevenfold increase to 10,000 website visitors on the evening it aired. The idea for a character to get into a texting-while-driving accident had been under consideration for about 2 years and was inspired by the appearance of the cast on The Oprah Winfrey Show since, at the time, the cast members signed contracts pledging not to text while they were driving. The scene where Quinn is hit by the truck was used in a PSA about texting and driving: https://youtu.be/hfvUKq_xkfo?si=KSjOv-cE5VFYJM1F. DON'T watch it until AFTER watching the ep. though so you won't be completely spoiled. A day after tweeting the deleted Klaine box scene from this season's Christmas ep. (3x09), Ryan Murphy tweeted a deleted bridesmaids scene from this ep. where Quinn confronted Rachel about being too young to marry (as seen in the promo for the ep.): https://youtu.be/j1dBZp4X9ro?si=J7gWMgSxjF0kYHDn Ian Brennan, one of Glee's creators, appears as a Regionals competition judge (the vampire) named Svengoobles, a parody of the character Svengoolie. Ian provides the voiceover for the recap sequence at the beginning of every episode ("So here's what you missed on Glee"). He is also responsible for most of Sue's insane rants, at least in the earlier seasons. You probably don't recognise him but Mitch Grassi from the a-capella group Pentatonix is one of the Golden Goblets at Regionals who come in third. The Warblers perform the song Glad You Came by The Wanted at Regionals. Max George, a member of the band, would appear in S6 as the lead of Vocal Adrenaline when Will is their coach. This is the only one of Rachel's performances, including opening night of Funny Girl, that her dads attend. Not really a 'fun fact' but Rachel's lines to Finn "I don't ever wanna be without you" and "Life's too short" hurt so much now 💔
