Didn’t stop them from just going after one another for fun while also not wanting to hurt each other. 😂 We can deduce that Santana is 18 at this point because she is used for a political add but the politician gets no backlash for using a high schooler. So Santana had to be at least a legal adult. Blink and you might miss it but during the Adele mashup, there is a long pause at the beginning where Santana glances at Mercedes to sing her part. Fans deduce that this was Santana silently telling Mercedes that she can’t do it and needs her to take over her part. Just a little detail that the glee directors were so good at incorporating into the show. The NDs mashup marks the 2nd time we see Blaines actual hair and not gelled down.
