As a British fan I am flabbergasted that you haven’t heard of Rita Ora 🥺 she’s amazing and is a judge on the masked singer UK and I think was/is a coach on the voice U.K. 😁😁

2024-07-27 23:27:57 +0000 UTCI'm not gonna lie. I 100% forgot about the Royal Wedding short animated film (I had to go rewatch). I think the bad animation made it forgettable. I wish they had stuck with the animation style from Wicked World. Though, rewatching that. I still wish they didn't kill of Carlos. Though at that time, I guess it's only fair because the idea of D4 was really a big no at the time. So it would have been a good way to honor Cameron. Ending was so weird. I wonder what they did with the cookbook. They didn't take it with them.

The characters and premise was really interesting but I don't think it fulfilled it's fullest potential. Music is just meh for me. Red, Revenge, and Hands dirty were probably the best for me, but none were as memorable as Rotten to the core or was to be wicked or whats my name

And we get the book and voila everything is good. I wish they didn’t force it into the 90 min mold and we could’ve had a full 2 hr movie and more fleshed out

2024-07-14 04:53:39 +0000 UTCI kind of wished Carlos was just off adventuring with Mal, Evie and Jay. I feel like them killing off his character wasn't fair. I think it could have been nice to give Cameron's character a happy story at least. Also, before I get into the film I just wanna say something about the music. Now, maybe because I'm not a fan of rap, I felt the music wasn't great. A few songs are easily forgettable while a few are really nice. I loved Get Your Hands Dirty. I felt that had a really nice message to it. Now...overall the film wasn't terrible, and I went into this with an open mind. It didn't do great compared to the original trilogy. (I just wanna say, I do not consider this film ((and any future films)) a continuation but rather a spinoff series. I personally will not refer to this as D4) This film had it's moments, and it wasn't the worst thing I've seen. It had a bit of a different feel to it, and maybe because it wasn't directed by Kenny Ortega who did the original. My biggest disappointment was the ending. It really felt rushed and unfinished. If her mom was never evil then Wonderland wouldn't have been separated and her daughter wouldn't attend Auradon Prep so late. Also, why would her mother have gone from Pink to Red if not going evil? I wish Red and Chloe came back to her mom still evil, but able to understand what her mother went through and be able to then change her mind (Something Mal wasn't able to do with her mother. It would have been a nice touch). Maybe that unexplained history change is what leads to the next film? Which leads to another major difference from the original trilogy. At least the original trilogy each film ended on a good point where you wouldn't NEED another film, but WANT one. This ending makes it feel more like a NEED. Overall, I will probably watch the other films that come out, but I really wish Disney would have left it after the original trilogy.
