His voice is just totally different from when he was in One Direction! It used to be more smooth and rounded sounding with more of a pop feel, now it's like some sexy man took over his body and allowed the true raspy heart connected broken artist to shine through! UGH!
You could say I was pleasantly surprised! haha!
However at the end I'm still not sure about what the title Room Under The Stairs meant. hmm?

Thanks for reacting to his album, I love zayn and this album is a different sound from him since he was giving us a more of an R&B sound in his previous albums, he disappeared for 6 years, had his ups in downs in his relationship, had his daughter, and then came up with this gem π, the title β room under the stairsβ is where he recorded this album, in a room under the stairs in his house :) , he talked about the album in his interview with Zach Sang if you are interested, thanks again !
