Just to say since nobody has already, Mariah Rose Faith, who plays Steph, was Regina George in the first national tour of Mean Girls so you’re totally right about the style of music her voice is well suited for! Her being on tour with Mean Girls was the reason why she couldn’t be in Black Friday, since the two were happening at the same time. Jon Matteson (Richie) went above and beyond taking voice lessons since playing Paul in TGWDLM and it really shows. The bit in the title song where he sings “I’m not a loser” is probably one of my favorite music moments in the show. It just activates a happy place in my brain.

I don’t know if anyone’s talked about it but this show has a lot of references to a lot of other stories on the same YouTube channel, called Nightmare Time. That was a mini-series where we met lots of characters, including Steph and Pete from this show, for the first time. It gives a lot of context to this show and makes the Lords In Black reveal way more fun. This show is Joey (Pete - the main nerdy guy)’s best show in my opinion, he’s improved so much since his first show, especially in his singing. I can’t get over how good everyone is in this one, but especially him! Thank you so much for reacting to this show and finishing the trilogy, it’s one of my favourites and I’m so glad you watched it. There are so many more awesome Starkid shows if you ever want to watch them, but this video made me so happy <3
