I think i heard that the movies will be even more so be based on the book that the musical is based on, so they will be able to be even more accurate to the original story than the stage musical I actually have never seen wicked, only remember wizard of oz from my childhood, so this movie will be my first exposure to it, which is great because i wont be able to compare

2024-02-19 21:50:32 +0000 UTCI had hoped the trailer for "Wicked" would be good, and I too sighed with relief and had a huge grin on my face the entire time I was watching the trailer.😁I am so, so, so excited for the movie. The only thing I wish is that we didn't have to wait until Thanksgiving for it to be released. I also am interested to see what kind of role Bowen Yang (from SNL) will have in the movie.

2024-02-18 19:19:17 +0000 UTCThat top whistle at the beginning was Mariah :) I think that this remix was good, however I can see the criticism it has gotten because, as an avid whore for Mariah, when I first heard that pre-chorus, I had to listen to it a few times over and over because the two melodies did not go well with each other. I wish the critics though would stop being wenches and saying "oh Mariah can't sing, or this song was TERRIBLE." That's not the case AT ALL. I feel like that is the only part of the song that did not mix well, but Mariah's vocals still SLAYYED in this song. And I love that you can hear her throughout the WHOLE song with all of her ad libs. It was the same with the Big Energy remix, and I love that she doesn't have to do too much on a song for her presence to still be felt throughout.
