Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Thats an interesting perspective. I've never been on that end

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oh yea!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Hmmm... how would that line up?

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Thank you for pointing this out. I just chatted with my editor and decided that yes you’re right. We gonna use way less pop ups from now on. ❤️

The song was first released as a bonus track on The Late Night Edition of Midnights in May. The CD-only edition was only available for in-person purchase at certain venues of the Eras Tour for a limited time, following which it was widely pirated on social media. It was released to music streaming services on November 29 as a token of gratitude to her fans after she was revealed as Spotify's Global Top Artist of 2023. Jack Antonoff, her co-writer, revealed the song was written and recorded on the same day TWO YEARS AGO, which made fans question if she and Joe had already broken up at that point. But it's more likely that they hit a rough patch and were able to overcome it. I think they just drifted apart. The song has 103 beats per minute, the right tempo for hands-only CPR. Interestingly it is also the second song of Taylor's to feature the sample of her own heartbeat — the first being Wildest Dreams.

Heida

but just the song audio, not her commentary

Kitty Thornton

Is the audio on this vid weird for anyone else? There were 2-3 times when the sound went out while she was at the diagonal angle for me

Kitty Thornton

Well shit. I've kind of avoided listening to this song. Because the last thing I needed was sad. I was him. In some ways. I was ultimately the one that ended it. But I was also the person that couldn't fight for it.

Meghan

Thanks for reacting! I'm glad this one is finally out to steam. It is a really raw song emotionally. Can't wait to see you react to the eras tour concert movie too, now that she's announced we'll be able to rent it on streaming platforms on Dec 13th.

Becca

So Jack posted that Taylor wrote this song on Dec 5, 2021, a year and a half before there was an official break up announcement. Quite interesting 🤔

Annie Willow

I love this song so much, so happy it's finally streaming!! I do agree with the comment above ^ while I totally get and am for advertising similar content within the video to get more engagement, this one just felt like wayyy too much in terms of quantity. It didn't take away from the video to the extent I wanted to stop watching but it was certainly distracting in a negative way.

Tiffany T

I do know this video is meant for Youtube and I did have this same thought on one of the videos I watched on Youtube the other day as well. Advertising your other content is awesome, but the amount right now is too much. I started dreading whenever Taylor would start singing again because I knew another ad would show up.

Magic Hazard

Absolutely love the content but what is with all the sudden ads in the videos? The amount is so distracting and sometimes I feel like I'm watching an advertisement with content in the background.
