2024-04-03 02:34:43 +0000 UTCOh! I meant to say it's not ALL on her, my bad. I'm not excusing what she did, but just highlighting that she had a lot of influence to help her become the person she did. Of course everyone is given a choice and she chose poorly pretty much every time.

Regina is responsible for her actions, but her character makes a lot more sense and is easier to forgive/understand with that context. I absolutely love her and I respect her more than any other character in the show, but she has still done things that are inexcusable.

2023-11-01 01:34:59 +0000 UTCI don't think it's fair to say it's not on her. It IS on her. Her actions are her own. Yes, Cora was awful her entire life, and yes Rumple was manipulated. But it was made very clear she enjoyed hurting people. I feel like saying it's not on her minimises the pain she caused SO many people. I mean, look at what she did to Graham. Everyone always forgets that for some reason. It's not like she just tried to get revenge on Snow (which Snow didn't deserve at all as she was a manipulated child...) she took it out on EVERYONE. Everyone likes to try excusing her actions but the truth is you can't. I honestly wouldn't have blamed the town if they threw her over the Town Line after everything she put them through... People love to victimise her and act like everyone had no right to treat her as the bad guy all the time, but she literally IS the bad guy in all of their stories. She's a complex character, and she is a good character. But what she did IS on her...

2023-10-31 18:16:36 +0000 UTCThis is definitely the start of Regina's redemption. And yes, it will be a lot to overcome and work for. Yes, what she did is horrible but it's not on her. She had a lot of influence and grooming that happened from a young age. She was also extremely vulnerable due to the loss of Daniel that I think Rumple manipulated that into revenge. Even after Daniel was murdered, she didn't tell Snow the truth because she wanted to spare her the truth, I think that's a pretty big point to mention, and she didn't tell Snow the truth until she was much older. Ah she's such a great, complex character! I love it so much. Another amazing reaction! Can't wait for next week!!

Heβs 10 and he probably never had any students move up in grades with him. Probably thought he was crazy until Mary Margaret gave him the storybook and figured it all out because how else do you explain that everyone stays the same age
