And I'm back. Haven't watched your reactions in a very long time, skipped most of season 5, but I'm back for season 6. I love it! Love the new kids, love the journey everybody goes on. It's a bit crazy at times, because it's Glee, but it's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.

2023-12-18 19:15:40 +0000 UTCI love season 6, it’s so chaotic but it’s not as incoherent and all over the place as the last two seasons - I think they just were juggling too much in season 4 and 5 and it didn’t work. I feel like they knew this would be the end and decided to just be meta and make fun of themselves as much as possible. I feel like Glee is infinitely better if you don’t take it seriously after season 3 lol

2023-11-19 02:25:26 +0000 UTCWoohoo Season 6! I absolutely had to come back to watch this (I temporarily abandoned all of my Patreon memberships when my husband and I moved, glad to be back!). It’s funny but I do not remember watching season 6 in real time; I remember watching the last 2 episodes when they aired as sort of like an end of an era thing, but I started watching the beginning of season 6 in Netflix several years later and was like huh, I don’t remember any of this! The songs are the best part of this season, not gonna lie. I mostly wanted to shine a light on the fact that Lea and Darren just did Suddenly Seymour at her Carnegie Hall concert on Monday, and it was MIND BLOWING! You must react to it! Also, how good was Uninvited? I love her cover of that song!

You’re starting s6 and the other YouTuber I watch is starting s5… what am I gonna do after hahaha Let it go… I think the song is cute and it’s definitely the type of song Rachel would sing but I just think it’s boring. Funny that the song is from her tv mom and that even Santana’s ex girlfriend did a version but yeah.. I didn’t really care for it. Lea, Idina or Demi, all good versions but just an idc song for me..

2023-10-14 06:23:30 +0000 UTCIt finally clicked why they chose “let it go”! Her making a fresh start and forgetting about the past and moving forward. How did I not get it until now?!? It’s weird that our is all the Disney songs, they chose that one. Though being a then Fox show, didn’t help. I heard that Blaine was supposed to be dating Sebastian but Grant gustin was busy doing The Flash and couldn’t guest. Same with Melissa Benoist as Marley. Can’t wait to get your thoughts on the end of the series

2023-10-13 22:09:52 +0000 UTCIt still makes no sense to me that Rachel would leave her DREAM role for a TV show she knew nothing about. But rewatching it I actually like the idea of her and Kurt coming together to bring back Glee Club and take down Sue, who I agree is just not funny anymore. Some stories her character is involved in S6 are absolutely insane. Also, I know now the Klaine breakup was for the best but I still don't like how cold Kurt seemed. Saying "We had a good run" felt so weird and insensitive of him. He was begging Blaine to be honest with him but he clearly had not been honest with Blaine. The acting in that scene is SO good though. Darren's phenomenal as always and absolutely breaks me with those puppy dog eyes. And even though he usually shows more emotion in his facial expressions than Chris, you can see by the look on Kurt's face right after he says "maybe I don't!" it is so clear that he didn't mean it and he INSTANTLY regretted it. However, the way he says "while there was still toothpaste on MA FACE" is so funny to me. Anyway, I'm so mad because apparently the scene was originally meant to be much longer. At the same time, I really hate the Blaine/Karofsky storyline. Yes, it would've been nice seeing Dave again, having turned his life around and possibly even becoming friends with Blaine AND Kurt. But THIS did not make any sense, as Blaine must've known how hurt Kurt would be. Because it's one thing to forgive your ex-bully but to have to watch him be in a relationship with your ex-fiancé? This is one of two storylines in S6 I absolutely hate. Aside from that, I actually quite like this season. Just sad it's only 13 episodes though. Fun facts: Darren sang (at least the beginning of) Suddenly Seymour live, making it the 4th time he sings live on the show. Lea Michele actually choked on a fake snow flake while filming Let It Go which caused her to throw up. And if you mean did Idina sing any Frozen songs on Glee then no. The title of Rachel's show is a reference to That's So Raven on Disney Channel. Also, the purple piano shown during "That's So Rachel" is a reference to S3E01 "The Purple Piano Project". There is an instrumental of the acoustic version of Loser Like Me during the scene with Rachel and Blaine at Lima Bean.
