that girl is actually not from descendants. i was also confused at first since they look really similar. but i just watched a show where the girl from there is the lead. (xoxo kitty) she looks so grown up there. i really liked the show, and would love to see youre reaction to it. but its not a musical. there is no singinig at all.

For now though I'll leave you with a few fun facts for this episode. 1) Saylor Bell Curda (Maddox) actually did learn how to play that Bugel bit and played it for the episode 2) season 3 filmed late 2021/early 2022 so Sofia Wylie (Gina) was 17/18 here 3) Adrian Lyles (Jet) actually learned in this episode that they muted the instruments on set unless they were needed for a scene otherwise the cast would throw impromptu jam sessions 4) the writing credit for this episode goes to Ilana Wolpert who is actually Julia Lester's (Ashlyn) girlfriend in real life On another note, it was mentioned casually in both seasons 1 and 2 plus last episode that Nini has two moms but it was always a more casual thing that they didn't get into too much. I assume that her Asian mom is the one whose egg was used due to Niniβs Asian features. Oh edit to add another small thing. Both Julia Lester and Saylor Bell Curda are in musicals that open this month. Saylor is playing Cindy in Cindy and the Disco Ball at the Gary Marshall Theater in Burbank and Julia Lester's in I Can Get It For You Wholesale at the Classic Stage Company in New York. I don't remember the role Julia's in but I do remember it was a role originated by Barbra Streisand
