Taylor Swift did write her monologue at age 19 - she's actually the first host to ever write their entire SNL monologue on their own. She wrote it then came and sang it in front of Seth Meyers and Lorne Michaels. Seth Meyers has talked about how impressive she was and how what she wrote was so much better than what they wrote for her.
