2023-09-21 03:25:06 +0000 UTCI'm actually kinda wondering if Joshua Bassett (Ricky) was still recovering when they shot this which is why his voice wasn't sounding the greatest in this episode. I'm wondering this cause in January of 2021 Joshua was hospitalized for heart failure and septic shock, they hadn't finished filming until March of the same year.

2023-09-15 08:53:41 +0000 UTCThe EJ/Gina's brother situation is so difficult. Like, he's just a teenager and I feel like the irrational fear of her saying "oh yeah, did you think we were anything more than brother and sister?" is just too much in that situation.

2023-08-24 02:05:46 +0000 UTCWith this episode I feel it really showed EJ's lack of ability to communicate. I get that during the show he can't go up to Gina and ask, "hey do you see me as your brother?" since she's super busy, but he seems to be taking it at face value. And honestly that was an issue he had with Nini too, he's a super supportive boyfriend and he cares deeply, but if there's an issue he doesn't seem to want to face it and communicate it, which if him and Gina get together can be a real problem. Do I think he'll poison someone or harm someone to make Gina feel good like he did with Nini, no, but I don't think he's figured out all his issues when it comes to dating. EJ did grow with his father and ability to take control of his life, but we'll see if he's really ready for an actual serious relationship.
