Making promises he can't keep and his desire for everyone to be happy just isn't realistic, given the situation. And like Mary Margaret said, everyone ended up hurt.

2023-08-09 16:05:25 +0000 UTCTo clear some doubts on whether it was a mermaid or not, the being that was inside Lake Nostos was, in fact, a water nymph. They do live in bodies of water like rivers, lakes, and even ponds, but they don't have to have tails like mermaids.

2023-08-09 13:39:20 +0000 UTCI think they show David/Charming in the same situation in the EF and the RW to display how he handles it in different ways and how the curse affects his thinking. In both, he's fighting between who he's supposed to be with versus who he loves. it's just in the EF he does the right thing by not marrying Abigail and telling her the truth, while in the RW things are messier, his thinking isn't as clear. I'm not making excuses for him, he is a grade-A douche at times, but I feel like displaying the parallels in the situations gives us a clearer picture of the fallout from the curse. Frederick is a coach in the school or P.E teacher or something along those lines What happened to Katherine becomes a story that lasts for a couple of episodes with a twist or two that just might make you hate Regina more lol
