GLEE S05E10 WATCH PARTY

Comments

Audrey: "She's so pissed! She looks like she's on 11-hour Energy." This made me LOL so hard.

tbh i find the episode fine. i generell like all glee episodes. i think the puppet and the christmas episode was a lot crazier then this one lol. i thought the songs were great as well

lila22

wow i dont agree at all. season 6 is fine, but season 4 and 5 are way better

lila22

Gloria is top 5 best song on glee to me!! also Hold on is so good and i loooove Barracuda also, i think they both sound amazing and in the full version they have some crazy high notes (here too haha)

Senior year🏫for sure is sad,😔it just wasn’t👎🏼like that for me.😅Vines were awesome,👌🏼lol.😆 They were the original🅾️SnapChat! 🫰🏼💬 Yes,👌🏼it does take a long time⌚️to get pregnant🤰when🤔you are trying like that, because of all🤲🏼the stress.😣You we’re going to mention💬something about that.🤔 I like👍🏼when they sneak👟into the school🏫and have their night🌃together.🤲🏼They chose, Don’t You (Forget About Me), 🎧 to give🫳🏼it the breakfast☕️club vibe.✌🏼I like 👍🏼 how they did it, for the most🤲🏼part. Yes,👌🏼it’s Drew Barrymore in, Ever After: A Cinderella Story.🏰The way Blane runs🏃🏻down the hall, ha ha ha.😆One Three Hill chose🫳🏼that song🎧to encourage👍🏼Santana and Rachel to makeup.😅It’s a hot🧯mess, the music🎶for me is what🤔makes it bearable.😅Most of the later episodes🎬were changed around. So many🤲🏼choices are just🤔outrageous or confusing.🫣Another awesome😃watch party.👀🎉✌🏼

Koko

Even sooner than you think

Jennifer Adame

Thank you!!!! ❤️

Talia Shapiro

yea why are they not rehearsing AT ALL?? hahah

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

hahah! thats soo true to complete the circle with Sam and Tina! hahah! Total hot mess is right. Yes I agree that the Will and Emma seemed oddly out of place once again. And Im assuming she dissapears again after that episode. I think truthfully both Santana and Rachel needed to figure out their friendship and deal with it like adults instead of divas... but that wouldnt make for good tv haha

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I swear Melanie is in SOOOO MANY MOVIES and yet I never recognised her until after Yellow Jackets!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oooh! I'm putting that movie on my list!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

ugh yes Hold On! and yes thats totally from burlesque hahaha!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

it's magic that they learn songs and choreography for their shows so fast hahah!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Aw but it's so much FUN to get all deep with it. Frustrating yet fun. It's what they calla. love hate relationship haha

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

yes HOLD ON!!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

ugh I loved Hold On!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I loved all the harmony and layers to Hold On that can only be done with more than three people. I thought it sounded beautiful. But then again I really love that song in general haha

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oh and congrats on your baby!!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea i would have liked a deeper connection with their story line but it seemed like all the storylines are spread too wide

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

i love that youre using the names I gave them hahaha!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea I was there for the songs and not the writting so much

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

ugh HOLD ON!!! yeeessss! I needed it!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

hahah!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

theres NEW KIDS coming?? ooh IM excited!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oh whaaat! I would have LOVED vision of love! ugh!!!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Elliott and Rachel were originally meant to sing Vision of Love by Mariah Carey, however it was later changed to Barracuda for unknown reasons. Nancy Wilson from Heart plays the guitar in that performance although she doesn't appear in the scene. She is also married to Geoff Bywater, an exec at Fox who handled the music for Glee. Kurt, Elliot and Dani named their trio One Three Hill after they kicked Rachel and Santana out of the band. It is named after the TV show One Tree Hill (you reacted to an episode of that show not long ago). Also, this is the most Demi has sung since Here Comes The Sun. They really underused her character and her voice on the show. Tina was more funny and dramatic than a bitch in this episode. I loved her, Blaine and Sam together but I felt bad for Artie. Also Tina and Sam... yuck. And good point about Emma who would NEVER have sex in a bathroom with all the germs in there. That whole thing was weird and happened very fast. I actually agreed with Sue on that one.

Heida

without saying much but all i have say is the next three eps you better love all over the NEW kids that is all

Simon Davis

yess most people talk negatively on s6 but honestly i think it was way better than s5! wish it had more episodes tho :( and i wish they had more time to explore the newbies because they were amazing too

Lu

Same!

Rachel Johnson

I completely forgot that they did Jumpin' Jumpin' by Destiny's Child. Gotta say that I'm not a fan of the Glee version

Jay Johnston

The next 3 episodes are some of my favorites!!

Sam jaeger

This comment speaks the truth. Dont take it so seriously

Michaela Evans

Too bad it's only 13 episodes. I'm still salty. It goes by so fast since its not the regular 20 something episodes.

Michaela Evans

Yeah, this episode was a hot mess. And as far as I know Jenna didn't do anything, I think the writers just had no idea what to do with Tina.... despite writing her for 5 years. I listen to Gloria and Hold On all the time. Such good songs.

mightstill

Also, for the McKinley storyline, probably my favorite part of this watch party was you actually made the exact same face as Blaine when he found Tina and Sam making out. I laughed so hard! Thank you for that.

Jennifer Adame

Yes! Wilson Phillips was DEFINITELY needed. I love that song and Glee actually did a great job with it.

Jennifer Adame

Oh yeah - One Three Hill's song is "The Happening" by the Supremes. So yes a really old song. I do like the glee version - very jazzy instead of the girl band 60s sound. Here's a video of the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4IFtxQfLWg

Jennifer Adame

This episode is all over the place, so I will just note the NYC scenes first. My jaw literally dropped when Rachel called Kurt a traitor and said he hadn't done anything for her since graduation. Let's be real here: It was Kurt who found their apartment, it was Kurt who gave Rachel her makeover, and it was KURT WHO SIGNED RACHEL UP FOR THE FUNNY GIRL AUDITIONS because she was being a sad sack after she lost a diva-off to him. Ugh. Rachel goes full diva here, and Santana was not helping with her vendetta and crazy hair scheme. That's why I was soooo happy when they were kicked out of the band and the new band trio looks like a great team-up. I loved super cool zen Elliot tearing into them and calling them immature, even Kurt for letting those girls treat him so bad.

Jennifer Adame

at some point everything gonna be set in new york and with the main cast and it will become more enjoyable

Cory Orsborn

In my opinion Season 6 definitely does improve over this. Not nearly as good as seasons 1-3 but a more focused step up over seasons 4 and 5.

Wayne Joy

One guest star in particular hasn't been on Glee before.

Wayne Joy

This episode is a little.. eh, tho I do like the Santana and Rachel scenes. I love the songs tho, Gloria is in like 3 of my playlists, I honestly like their version more than the original tho I do love the original too. I can’t remember what the next episode is, but I do like some in the next few bc we get to see the original cast a bit and I much prefer them.

Sophie R

This episode is a damn mess, but oh my gosh I forgot how good the music was! The Tina stuff is all over the place but I feel like she’s kinda gone back to her roots with all the weeping and stuff, cause she did a lot of that in season 2, but I do think they just kinda gave up with her which is so sad. The next episode holds a really special place in my heart, and then I’ve been waiting for you to get to the next 2, but I think this part of the season is kind of the lull, and I definitely enjoy the next part a whole lot more.

Laura

Just Jake and Kitty Kitty Puss Puss were in this episode, but Kitty only had the one line about Unique/Wade talking a certain way and Jake just didn't have a line. I feel like this is where funding and writing issues started going from shock factor to just stupid and they decided to just give the seniors and New York group lines and that's it.

Valorie Faye

This episode hits differently now that I'm pregnant. My hormones are making me feel all the feels. I was the Will in the scenario stressing us out lolol. I do think them trying to concieve felt like it came out of nowhere not having seen Emma in a while, and seemed very rushed. I feel like they could have taken their time with it. It's a sensitive subject and I think it would have been more interesting to show us bits of their journey over a few episodes.

Talia Shapiro

At tis point I only care about Santana's scenes that are, sadly, too short. I must say I didn't find Rachel too annoying this time as usal. Their banter was funny with all the jokes and jabs at each other but downpaying what happened last episode. Now, about Santana not being Jewish, someone explain why Rachel played Puerto Rican in WSS. Why yhe double standard? Lastly, I don't think they did Hold On justice, tbh, but who could? Wilson Phillips were runner ups in Masked singer behind Amber Riley. They were the Sheep if you wanna listen some of them recently.

Capri Zonica

This episode is all over the place but I don’t mind it. This is unfortunately the last time we see Demi, and Elliot come back for 1 more episode but that’s it. Hold on and Gloria are definitely the best songs. The Happening had some great vocals, but the song is kinda boring. Tho I think since this was a (kinda new) trio group, Kurt wanted a different sound for it maybe. Also, the next episode is the only one where we really see the newer characters, like in a storyline. After that, it’s focuses on the OG characters. (Which I prefer) And yeah, I like that little moment between Santana and Rachel. Their friendship is definitely coming back soon.

Selma Jabr

I love Gloria and Hold on means so much to me!! The lyrics, the arrangement and all 🥰

Lovisa Axelqvist

I do wish people wouldn’t take glee seriously like asking why did they do that or this it’s glee stop looking for it to make sense lol, all the songs where good and don’t you forget about is probably cause they don’t want to forget about each other it’s not rocket science

Jake Sullivan

Another glaring example of how much they really stopped knowing what to do with the senior class. Other than make them crush on each other, I guess. They're graduating... You could have had them spending more time exploring options for post highschool. Outside of New York/NYADA. And, yeah... They never seem to really spend time figuring out their set lists or practicing the songs, lol

Jennifer Lawrence

Was gonna say, I saw him, and Marley… or was I crazy lol. If I’m not mistaken, this was around the time Melissa/Marley was auditioning/getting ready for supergirl

Zach Davis

I think we need to warn her to have tissues. And Jackie, I think there will be 3 guest stars she’ll love to see

Zach Davis

This episode was a mess, but the songs were mostly absolute bops. I will say that both Kitty and Jake were there the whole time. Kitty even had that line you laughed at. But yeah, this episode wasn’t about them, so…

Heather Dyson

I love that movie!

Jennifer Lawrence

I honestly watch this episode for the build up to the next three. It’s definitely the Hot Mess Express train that at least makes it to a destination soon.

Annie Willow

Same. Can’t wait to see her reaction when they pop up on screen lol

Benjamin Smith

Getting closer to Nationals lol and I can’t wait to see your reaction to who the lead singer of Throat Explosion is. Also the 100th episode special is finally around the corner too. Very excited for the next 3 episodes as well!

Benjamin Smith

So excited for next weeks ep special guest star you'll like 🥰

Jackie Warner

Omg yay, finally an upload to a time when i can immediately watch it😂😂 This episode is so... bad. Like really bad. It's also funny how this is the first time in a hot minute we saw Emma again, and almost all her scenes are kinda bad, especially the first scene. The second I saw Elliots apartment I said the same, I was like "that looks so much like in Burlesque" and then you said it😂 One positive thing tho, the songs are great in this one. I completely forgot about Hold On and how amazing it is. Back when I watch the episode when it first aired, I remember listening to that song especially so many times. But anyway, on the plus side surviving this horrendous episode, the next 3 episodes are SO so good. I absolutely cannot wait to see your reaction to them, especially the two after next week😍

Patrick Rivera

Not a fan of this episode. Everyone is so petty. Anyway, the movie they're watching is called Ever After and it's probably one of the best Cinderella retellings ever made. Yes thats Drew Barrymore and Melanie Lynski from yellow jackets is also in it. I'm so ready for graduation lol. Also so close to another one of my favorite eps.

Haughtbreaker Nic

Definitely not my favorite episode, although Gloria and Hold On are on my top glee songs Playlist. The descent of Tina continues and to a lower degree, Sam for being someone who objectifies Tina when he himself went through his own hangups with that. Plus, Blaine, had a crush on Sam and Tina on Blaine, so I guess they just had to have Sam hook up with Tina to complete that ridiculous circle and they just leave Artie in the cold after the way they had him and Tina come together last episode...hot fucking mess. Also, with how Rachel is playing victim annoys the crap out of me. If you read my comment from last episode, I was actually understanding of how hers and Santana's insecurities were complicating their dynamics, but her in this episode being a full-on Diva by telling Elliot that they kicked her out and then just completely taking over his apartment and treating him like her assistant and having a band at her beck and call? It's really hard for me to feel even a little sorry for her with all of this and I'm seeing that Santana's reactions bad as they may sound, are more and more a reaction to Rachel's terrible attitude. She treats Elliot and Kurt like they're property and interchangeable. At least Santana was willing to pay Elliot for his time after hearing that he was struggling financially. Good for Kurt and Elliot for standing their ground and at least trying to get things going between them. Rachel is not owning any of her part in this whole thing. Santana at least acknowledged that she saw an opportunity and took and even called Rachel out on the fact that she would do the same. The whole Will and Emma storyline was a waste of time in my opinion. None of that needed to be in the episode anywhere. And Glee has totally wasted the fact that they had Demi Lovato in their cast...they should give her way more to do and it would be nice to actually see hers and Santana's relationship

Gemma Rivera

Not the best episode but also not the worst, although it's a weird episode to have right before nationals when they should be rehearsing ect. I feel Kurt/Elliot/Blaine represented us viewers with the New York/School trio drama's tho lmao.
