Also I'm soooo happy that he (guy in the end) is finally here. I love him. I don't remember his storybrook name, only the fairy tale name and that is a spoiler so I'm not gonna tell you. Captain Hook comes to the show in season 2 so don't expect him anytime soon.

2023-07-15 13:40:04 +0000 UTCI know the reasons, I really do, and that there are both good and bad homes in real life. I understand the need for drama in fiction. I guess I just get tired when I see another book/show/movie only depicting the bad, I watched and loved The Fosters because despite all the drama and some off the rails storylines the show displayed a loving supportive foster family I get what you mean about Regina isolating Henry, but even as the show moves forward, Henry is still only surrounded by adults. I'm surprised the boy ever learned how to properly socialize with people his own age because he was simply never around them.

It's not always easy to guess, but this episode you could see the gingerbread house which was kind of a giveaway about what characters were going to be highlighted in this episode

Also at the beginning of the episode when you said, is that the evil queen Regina Regina George, I had to laugh. That's what I think when I hear that name. Speak of which have you seen Mean girls? I think you said once you haven't but I'm not sure. Anyway I love this reaction and I'm excited for the next one.

Sometimes it’s just done to add➕more drama🎭and other times for awareness.❤️🩹Unfortunately, there are too many🤲🏼horrific😧homes out👉🏼there and families who are not being held accountable.🚔And there are good families🤲🏼out🫴🏼there, who truly care❤️🩹about the kids and their well-being. It’s really cool😎your family was one☝🏼of them. Also, at least with social media, we are able to see some of those good family dynamics.👌🏼⭐️ I agree about Henry👦🏻being alone. He is isolated🚪by Regina and she keeps him on a short leash, so-to-say. She’s selfish 😒because she won’t 👎🏼let him have space🤲🏼to grow or do things on his own, as a young boy should. Even though what🤔Hansel and Gretel did was completely wrong,👎🏼they were alone just trying to survive. It does not excuse their actions🫴🏼but what would🤔any child do in that sitch. It’s really sad.😧✌🏼

The title is always super important but the title image when it says Once Upon A Time on screen usually has an image in the background that hints at what happens in the episode. They are different every episode. Like for example i think there was a house in this title card

Quick PSA though: The Curse was the very last thing happening in the Enchanted Forest, so all the flashbacks we see in it happened before the curse - meaning, Regina's dad is still alive at this point in time, cause she had to kill him for his heart and the last thing she does to activate the curse. The timeline is really confusing at some points.

I felt so bad for Henry at the beginning of the episode, the boy thought he was finally making real friends, only to find out he was being used and it's the only time through six seasons (7 is different) that happens
