Gina really has one of the best character arcs in this show. I can’t wait for you to continue watching. And Courtney kills beauty and the beast. And I love the message of Ashlyn doubting herself in that role. Watching this and OUAT watch party is the highlight of my week every week.

I wish they would have highlighted his journey a bit as there are plenty of people who aren't coupled up on Valentine's Day either. But back to Gina...her shedding her shell from season 1 just warms my heart. I love the progression of her character. I can see why she thought the chocolates were from Ricky. He had told her earlier that he was sure she would get her valentine's gesture, so that was fresh along with the fact that there didn't seem to be a card on the chocolates to indicate who they were from. Definitely gonna cause some drama with those assumptions. I really just want her to have an attachment with someone who isn't coupled up at the moment...EJ perhaps? They would look stunning together and they're both so different (better in my opinion) from last season. I love the storyline with Ashlyn having trouble with playing Belle because of the disconnect she feels from how Belle looks. Belle is a character and the looks we've been given are Disney's interpretation of that. Ashlyn has such a beautiful personality that to me makes her outer self just shine and I think that's why she is a great choice for Belle. And I love how Big Red supports her and you can totally tell that he sees her inner self shining through. I also love her friendship with Gina. Gina is a great hype person to have in your corner. I didn't like how Ricky shushed Gina when Nini called. I felt bad for Gina in that moment...also if Nini is stuck in the hospital waiting for her mom, how about joining her in the waiting room and spending that time with her? It's what I would have done

2023-06-29 02:35:31 +0000 UTCSo yeah, the ending with Gina is that she thought Ricky sent the chocolates to her because of what he said to her earlier and the timing of the text he sent to her thanking her. So she thanked him for the chocolates, but then her mom texted her and said that she hopes she got the chocolates (Gina mentioned earlier that her mom usually sends her a Valentine Bear, but thinks she forgot to this year). So , yeah, we’ll see where that brings us next episode!
