I’m so glad this was addressed! Because, a long while ago, I didn’t feel that inclusion here and on the Discord, and it kinda bummed me out. Before Aubrey freaks out, it had absolutely NOTHING to do with her or Danny. I had signed up for the voice lessons with Aubrey, part of a group class, and I had seen someone say something very derogatory about the LGBT community, and also had said something about people who have bad teeth must be on some sort of substances, and must be an addict of some sort. My teeth were already messed up, due to a very weak enamel, that was part of my genetics. The other half of that equation was that, for about 7 years, I was prescribed Adderall and was taking it regularly. I later discovered that Adderall is a street legal prescription of a really bad drug. Those 2 factors made me already even more self conscious about things. So, seeing someone be so blasé about people in situations like that, it kinda hurt, and I didn’t feel like causing a huge fuss at the time, so I just parted ways for a while. But, this community now has made me realize that we really do have an inclusion here, and I shouldn’t be so afraid of what others think.

Well said. You don’t have to agree with someone’s opinion, you don’t have to like their opinion, and you don’t even really need to respect someone else’s opinion - if it’s absolute bs to you, fair enough - but you should respect *people*, because that’s the right thing to do. That’s all in how you tell them they’re talking out of their ass 😂 I’m glad you’re on top of removing bullies from this community. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been really lovely, and they deserve to be taken care of, so this can remain a nice corner of the internet. So thanks for stepping in and doing that.

It shouldn't be, but that's also a learned trait. If you haven't been taught to be kind even when you disagree, then it becomes a competition and motivation to prove yourself correct in anyway possible. That can escalate very quickly.

Oh no. I hadn't seen any comments like that, but, I agree with a group this big it's bound to happen. If my experiences on social media are any indication there's plenty of people who don't realize that not every thought that pops into their head needs to be vocalized. Nor care, I guess, what people think of them or how they hurt people. I love engaging in healthy debate and experiencing in a variety of opinions/view points. It makes things much more interesting! But, some people clearly take their freedom of speech and right to have a differing opinion in a really bad direction. Which is very disheartening to see. Especially in this group which so far I've had nothing but positive experiences in. Lol, I don't have kids but I have used the "Don't make me pull this car over!" Line on many occasions and situations. 😂

It is easy to have intelligent and respectful conversations even with differing opinions, I've found this to be a fun and friendly space. The only even remotely rude comment I've ever seen was one telling you what you SHOULD watch and react to and even then I'm not sure it was meant to be rude.
