Yeah, I actually agree. Jake shouldn’t have cheated on Marley but like you said there’s also have been past cheating in the glee club why seems to wind Quinn cheated on Finn with pug and got pregnant buff and also cheated on Quinn with Rachel wouldn’t had a little picnic date, but no one wants to talk about that, season two on which she made out with puck and then on season three Mercedes cheated on her boyfriend with Sam, and made out then season four Blaine cheated on Kurt and now on season five Jake on Marley so it’s kinda like in every season someone cheated on somebody now I do think with Jake it was definitely intentional like he was looking for some thing that he was not getting same thing with with Quinn whenever Quinn cheated on Sam with and met up a few times in season two that was definitely intentional so it’s kinda like Jake isn’t the first person to intentionally cheat on their partner, but cheating is wrong, regardless, so yeah, but I also do feel like a season five Jake was kind of not his best version of himself, because in season 4 He was Way more sweet way more romantic way more honest, and yeah

As a teenager I don't think I'd have felt comfortable having boys in the same bathroom as me. Lads at my school could be a-holes so it was nice to have a private place to get away from them and deal with periods and stuff in private. But I can't imagine how hard it must be for trans kids. I wish more people could live and let live <3

2023-06-27 15:20:27 +0000 UTCOoh I would so love some Degrassi TNG Reactions from Audrey as they cover very serious topics for a childrens show and it's very different than any other childrens show most people have seen. Like others have said it has it's fair share of singing as time goes on, the school always seems to have some type of band with some main cast and a lot of people out the HUGE cast can somewhat sing, it has around 20 released original songs, with around 50 performances (30 of those aren't released songs, mostly just a short segment of singing, if I'm not mistaken, but it's not a musical show so most of them fall flat, however there are some really great ones as well as singers in the show however. I would for sure consider it as a replacement show at one point as there aren't many reactors to it and it touches on every topic you can possibly think of, and is handled in a much better way than Glee

Not a music show at all, but there at the bare minimum, one episode with music per season and several characters throughout the run of the show with an interest in being a musician. It's a long commitment for sure, but definitely worth watching, even if just for your own enjoyment!

2023-06-24 02:18:54 +0000 UTCDegrassi TNG is by far one☝🏼of the best shows. 🇨🇦🍁🎬 It’s part of the Degrassi franchise: 1) Degrassi Junior High,👌🏼 2) Degrassi High,👌🏼 then many years later when they were grown up, they brought it back and created 3) Degrassi TNG (The Next Generation), 🎊✌🏼then 4) Degrassi Next Class.👌🏼 They also said they are making another reboot in 2023 on Netflix, that’s what they did with the Degrassi Next Class. We shall see. 👀 That would be great,🤩 there are so many seasons 🔢 and hot button topics. TNG is the best.👀🎉❤️

Women 🙋♀️are constantly overlooked 🫣 and pushed aside, so for a woman 🙋♀️to wear men’s 👔 clothing, it’s more acceptable in society.👍🏼 Why? 🧐 Women 🙋♀️ are taught that in order to be noticed, 👀 important and taken seriously, you must act more like a man. 🙋♂️ Therefore, adapting male qualities will produce more successes.👌🏼 Women 🙋♀️ in this world 🌍 are the least 👎🏼 important (to society), so what they wear is mostly important to other women 🙋♀️(as well as the people that swoon 😍 over them). The reverse causes more outrage 😤 and upset 😠 because men 🙋♂️are seen more as the leaders,✊🏼the people we rely on, trust and follow. 🧗 Thanks for sharing. It may become more dangerous⚠️ if they can’t take shelter🙆♀️ in a public or private bathroom. 🚽 It feels like the toilet is one☝🏼 of the only places that is just for them and a possible safe haven.🕊️ And there are PRDTRS and PRVS who take advantage of that situation, in many ways. Another point☝🏼is that many of these bathrooms🚽 have locks🔒 and sometimes impossible windows, if any, making it that much harder to get out of dangerous⚠️ circumstances. It does not go over well, especially for women. I’m not ❌ giving specific examples 📑 as this can be triggering. As a third 3️⃣ option, I think that’s cool😎 because it becomes a choice, especially in public places.☝🏼There should definitely be a bathroom 🚽 everywhere for people who are like Unique. Learning📚🤔 about many of their personal struggles IRL, it seems this would be a good solution, thereby hopefully creating safer and inclusive spaces. No one should feel 😞 as though there is no place for them. As the only option,☝🏼👎🏼 it can cause distress 😣 as a lot of people don’t feel comfortable, including all other types of identifiers. Everyone 🤲🏼 deserves to feel content, 😌 have privacy 🚷 and safety, for themselves as well as their children, 👩👧👦 especially in such a vulnerable🫣 position. I know many people will not 👎🏼 agree or understand and that’s totally okay.👌🏼However, if we are absent to the real dangers⚠️ and basic needs of people (such as privacy, comfort and safety), then we are more likely to give power away to people who shouldn’t have it. ❌🤲🏼 As far as Marley letting out her feelings, 😧 I agree. 👍🏼 They actually have places you pay to destroy property in a controlled environment, they’re called anger💥rooms and rage💥rooms.👏🏼 I think it’s genius and a healthy therapeutic technique.✌🏼Tweaking. 😆👏🏼 Nooooo, ha ha ha. 🫣 Oh no crack tat,🍑 lol.😅 Did any of your piercings hurt? There’s a few episodes this season I haven’t been able to bring myself to rewatch very often because of either the plot or some of the performances like a certain number coming up that is extremely cringy to me lol. This episode and one or two more coming up.

I'm hoping to get a tattoo within the next year of a bluejay with a white ribbon wrapped around it and the dates May 31st 1945 - June 9th 2011 written somewhere, likely in the ribbon. The reason I want to get this tattoo is for my dad. He always used to call me his little bluejay but unfortunately he passed from lung cancer June 9th 2011 when I was 14, a white ribbon is the ribbon for lung cancer. My dad was the one who encouraged my love of music, taught me how to use it to express myself and how to use it to work through issues. He was also my biggest defender so I want to get something to honour him. I also have a plan for my maternal grandma who's the only grandparent I remember, my mom and also my 4 siblings

I rewatched quite a bit of it back when it was added to HBO Max and it's definitely a different experience now that I'm old enough to have kids that age, lol. But it's always a wild ride. I'd say I like the first... 10ish seasons. Then from there less so.

So horribly that I would get sick a lot I think just because I didn't want to go. And family members started giving me rides because of how horrible riding the bus was with people throwing things at me. I know my situation isn't the same as yours, but, I also felt like I didn't fit in. A lot of the time I didn't have friends and I wouldn't eat lunch because I had nobody to sit with. I hope that since then things have improved for you. And that you have found people who love and appreciate you for who you are.❤️

2023-06-23 10:25:55 +0000 UTCAfter rewatching this episode, I realized its not THAT bad as I remember it. Sure, the twerk storyline IS bad. Really bad. But the rest of the episode is so good. Loved/hated Uniques storyline as its still reality for so many people on this world. I loved her version of If I Were a Boy and it's even my favorite song of hers in glee. Edit: I know many people (including me at first) didn't like that they had Uniques storyline in the same episode as the twerking one, but if you think about it, its genius. They aired this episode when twerking was really popular (for good & bad reasons) so people, who maybe didnt even watch glee, heard that they are doing an episode about it and were curious and watched the episode, and at the same time seeing Uniques storyline. Meaning, it made a lot of people, who might have not watched glee, aware of how transgender people get treated in life. (i hope this made sense haha) I also really liked Marleys song. I love Marley so much and I shipped her and Jake and I will never forgive the writers for what they did to him. The New York storyline was also so good. When I got my first tattoo I looked at the word like a millonth time cause I was scared that there is a grammar mistake.. and i did it because of Kurts tattoo. (8 years and 5 tattoos later I can say there's not one with a grammar mistake😂) I have a quote from Naya on my shoulder "everyday you're alive is a blessing. make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised", and I was so scared that something is written wrong (cause english isn't my first language) that I even asked my tattoo artist if its right... but yea, everything turned out great in the end :D

It’s not a big music show -it has a little bit - but I think it would be such a good one to react to, because it’s full of conversations like this that are so worth having, plus it’s full of drama and weird choices to think about.

2023-06-23 05:47:24 +0000 UTCSo I have some thoughts on your thoughts on the trans and clothing stuff from your friendly trans follower High school as a trans person for me was hell, actually to the point that I ended up dropping out when I was 16 (I'm now 26) at the end of my grade 10 year. I wasn't comfortable using the female bathroom but I was flat out told, even with several teachers on my side and notes from doctors, that I had to so I just wouldn't go and I kept getting infections cause of it. School was dangerous for me and even the teachers that tried to help me were limited because of the vice principal in charge of my grade. The high school is apparently getting better now but that was my experience As for the clothing, it's an interesting observation but not exactly uncommon, our society tends to lift up masculinity while femininity gets brought down. Women are allowed to be masculine and it doesn't matter as much as a man being more feminine. Actually it ties in with some trans thoughts because I, as a transmasculine person, have a lot easier of a time then my friends who are transfeminine friends. Also when you mentioned Alex's Tony win I muttered to my phone in public about how it was relevant to Unique's storyline because trans people, especially those that fall under the non binary umbrella, are constantly told we don't belong as Unique says in the show and during Alex's speech they mentioned the same thing, that they've always been told that they don't belong but that their win shows that they do belong, that everyone belongs.

I just think at this point they were too focused on the trend and the popular thing at the time, like Gangnam Style and Call Me Maybe. And while twerking in itself isn't bad, it's not appropriate for high school, especially if the teacher is doing it with the students! BUT, as creepy as it is to watch Will twerk and sing a song about encouraging rape with his students, he really stepped up for Unique. While Sue was just horrible (even though she was right about twerking). I'm not a Beyoncé fan but I always loved If I Were A Boy, both the lyrics and the music video which talks about sexism and double standards. But it also works so well in this instance. I love how simple this rendition is and that Alex didn't overdo it with the vocals. It makes it more raw and honest. Loved that moment where Ryder looked at the boys. He was able to see past the catfishing and understand what Unique had to deal with on a daily basis. I know we all bitch about the show (and for good reason) but it really was ahead of its time in a lot of ways. I wasn't even a big fan of Jake or his and Marley's relationship but that was so disappointing. The Glee writers were obsessed with cheating (which is honestly a big red flag). Well at least we got that Wrecking Ball cover out of it. Interestingly enough, Miley did NOT write or co-write the song, in spite of it clearly having a personal meaning to her. And unfortunately Dr. Luke is one of the writers. But regardless, I think it's one of her best songs (though I don't like the video). Lea actually got a "Finn" tattoo but on her left hip in 2011, two years before Cory died. She also has a tattoo that says "If You Say So" in the exact same place as the tattoo in this episode. They were the last words Cory said to her before he died (and the title of her song). The final song, On Our Way, is by a Swedish rock band called The Royal Concept. This episode was actually the first time I heard the song too. I've discovered so many songs and artists from watching Glee.

It feels like almost every relationship had some sort of cheating or other kind of betrayal at one point or another. At least if they had to have them break up I wish they could have done it in a way that didn't ruin his character development.

Legit wiped away a tear. I did love how Audrey kept guessing what was gonna happen right before it happened lol

2023-06-23 03:04:44 +0000 UTCGlee has always done episodes that mix seriousness and silliness, this is that because they reign in the silliness a little bit, but it’s still not as good as grilled cheeses. There’s another episode (which at this point, you’ve already seen) that lets I’d run wild and it’s crazy. Also Jakes cheating situation is, in my opinion, the worst in the whole show. But it doesn’t bother me to much because they’re not my favorite couple. Kurt’s piercing is gone so one can assume the character got tired of it. A fun fact about this episode; Jenna U(Tina) was the best twerker of the cast but had to pretend to be bad for her character. 🙄 This episode is crazy and I think what really makes it cringe is Schues involvement in Blurred Lines. If he wasn’t involved at all, it would be more bearable.
