Bones was a crime drama with some comedy aspects to it, the comedy mainly coming from David Boreanaz's FBI agent character which was a nice change up from his super serious Angel character. He played the main lead opposite Emily Deschanel's character who was a forensic anthropologist. It was just an amazing show of a bunch of personalities that shouldn't work well together, but somehow they do, solving the most unsolvable murders/crimes. I watched it, my sister watched it, we got my dad into it...lol the whole family loves it!

I REALLY liked David Boreanaz (Angel) in Bones and I've been meaning to check him out on SEAL Team for awhile, I probably will now that I'm on summer break. He's been one of my favorite actors since I first saw him on Buffy but honestly Bones just made me love him more. I don't think you could go wrong checking out anything he's in lol.

Xander's antagonism toward Angel really bugs me a lot of the time. What he does in season 2 and 3 are actions that are simply never addressed and they should have been. Not telling Buffy a certain thing in season 2 (Becoming part 2) and Helping Faith in season 3 (Revelations) Both times he put his jealousy and general hate toward Angel in front of helping and trusting his friends, people who have repeatedly been by his side and put their lives on the line with and for him. I know he has reasons, but Giles has more reason than Xander and even he isn't as judge-y or harsh as Xander (I don't think there were any spoilers in that)

Ok finally watched this! I love that you figured out he was a vampire after only a couple minutes of him finally having a real scene lol The way Xander eggs Buffy on to immediately go kill Angel before they even think he has attacked someone always throws me off but at this point, Xander has severe trauma surrounding vampires as he lost his best friend Jesse to them. There are definitely a couple more filler episodes coming up. Cordelia gets a bit of a spotlight at the end of the season but she shines a lot more after that.

I checked the comments before I click on the video to watch tonight and I see everyone is talking about David and Sarah lol My favorite fun fact about them is that they would try to gross each other out on set. So when they would have kissing scenes, they would eat like...tuna and lots of garlic 🤣

David was cast in Buffy the Vampire Slayer after being suggested for the role to Buffy writer Marti Noxon by one of Boreanaz's neighbors after he was seen walking his dog past their house on a regular basis. He was married to his first wife Ingrid from 1997-1999 and wed Playboy model Jaime Bergman on November 24, 2001. There was a big cheating scandal, but not involving Sarah Michelle Gellar. They never hooked up as far as anyone knows. They're just close friends. In 2010, Boreanaz admitted to having an extramarital affair with Rachel Uchitel, the same woman with whom Tiger Woods was alleged to have cheated on his wife, His wife was pregnant at the time. He appeared on Buffy from 1997 to 1999, at which point he began starring in Angel, which ran until 2004. He starred in Bones from 2005-2017. As for whether or not to continue, Season Two is when things really start getting good. You should definitely keep watching at least through Season Two. If you want to watch the musical episode you at least need to get through season four to understand things somewhat. I'll definitely stick around for as long as you watch Buffy. I've enjoyed the other things you've watched so far (Zooey and Julie&Phantoms), but Buffy is my ride-or-die and I would probably move on if you stop.

David Boreanaz (Angel) finished 5 seasons of Angel in 2004 and then was one of the two leads in the show Bones for 12 season (2005-2017). He's currently in the show Seal Team (2017 - present).

I don't believe Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) and David Boreanaz (Angel) ever dated or hooked up. She met Freddie Prinze Jr. (her husband) while making the movie, "I Know What You Did Last Summer", which was made in 1997 (the same year Buffy the Vampire Slayer was first released). Though supposedly didn't start dating until 2000. They were married in the year 2002 and have been together ever since. Also, currently, David Boreanaz (Angel) is on the tv show "SEAL Team", which has been renewed for a season 7 on Paramount+.

Actually the Angel spinoff series did well. It ran for 5 seasons and has crossover episodes with Buffy.
