Santana’s “psychic Mexican third eye” is never wrong 😂

Kristin Baylor

One of the most beautifully sung versions ever ! IMHO .

heather Phillips

should watch all the world to me bts its cool to see how it was filmed

Tahlia

arent all of Santanas songs good? :D but yes, its one of my favs! and i'm pretty sure you already reacted to it, too! :)

patrick

Everyone

Willy

I prefer Breakaway much more but gleeks really like Wide awake, but it's average for me. I feel like any Katie Perry cover isn't better than the original. I know KP isn't the best singer ever but her songs are perfectly produced for her voice.

Capri Zonica

oh yes i will!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

hahah! sneeky sneeky :)

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

yes totally my fav duet of them!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I forgot how many good songs were in this episode! I love Come What May so much, maybe my favourite Klaine duet as they sound so good together <3 I'm not sure if Kurt and Adam are really dating/sleeping together here, I think they're just kind of seeing each other and maybe Adam wants it to be serious but Kurt is still hung up on Blaine after the wedding (I think they only slept together that one time).

Romy

Super fans should request "Wide Awake" by glee cast

Cai R

Just wanted to share that Alex Newell has a new song out from their show Shucked, called Independently Owned. It's AMAZING. No video, but it's on spotify, if you want to check it out!

Rebecca Matte

With this episode officially begins the final curtain call for the great Cory Monteith and Finn as a character! Having the knowledge of what happens later IRL makes you appreciate and enjoy these final episodes of the character a lot more..🤷🏾‍♂️🙏🏾

Manfred

The songs in this episode are so insanely good, and "Highway To The Danger Zone/Old Time Rock'n'Roll" might be my favorite mashup in the entire series.

mightstill

oh santana gets a good song next?

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

ph goood!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea Shakespeare doesnt seem to really have Kurts interest

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

plastic man? Sounds like Leather Man on AHS haha

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

No more Shakespeare?

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

oh no!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Oh thats beautiful!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

yea we dont get enough of SUgar anymore

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Wow lol

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

Yep lol diamonds are a girl's best friend/material girl. Nicole Kidman performs it. And they even add the little adlibs from the movie too like "Let's make love" and "everything's going so well". It was irritating that they did that.

Cory James

I've never seen Moulin Rouge. The song was mashed up the same way in the movie?

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

I love this episode. So many great songs. Jake singing Unchained Melody is probably one of my favorite Glee songs ugh so beautiful!! I actually really like Jake's character, yea he has some douchy moments but he has a good heart. P.s. Sugar is such an underrated character. I love her 😂

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

I personally think season 4 is way overhated. Plot wise it's chaotic but music wise it's one of the best in my opinion. This episode has some of the best songs of the entire show but they're never talked about. Fun fact: Shout is the 500th musical number on the show. When the song was released on iTunes, every purchase went towards helping fund arts education in public schools. Also, Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice was present during the filming of the performance as she was filming the mini-documentary "I Heart Glee" for Sky 1.

Heida

The songs in this episode were SO good. But I'm honestly upset at the girls' mashup cause it wasn't a real mashup. It was just an actual song from Moulin Rouge that had already been mashed up to begin with. It seemed lazy. The one thing I've always agreed with Sue on and it becomes GLARINGLY apparent in the next couple of episodes is that Will Schuster had NO business making a teenager his best friend. He saw himself in Finn and he creepily attached to that and felt like he got this chance to reshape his own childhood through FInn. At some point, he stopped seeing Finn as a flawed child learning how to be an adult, and put him up on this pedestal of greatness. Mentors are NEVER supposed to fail their students like that. That's not believing in Finn, that's putting too much pressure on Finn. I also loved Santana in particular episode at the end. She confronted Rachel in her usual bitchy manner because she was expecting Rachel to tell her off and confirm that it was all a big joke that Santana didn't really have to care about. But then Rachel started crying and Santana immediately shifted into the person she should show WAY more. She held Rachel and stroked her hair and promised her it was going to be okay and you could see she felt the 'change' in their friendship. I will always love Naya for acting that perfectly.

Cory James

My favorite part was when the way Kurt drew out 'baaaaby' LOL "Not even she's having a baaaaaaby? You always cry at the end when she has the baaaaaaby" LMAO he definitely knew.

Cory James

Not wanting to spoil anything, but from here on, I lose a lot of the small amount of respect I had for Will! Great music this ep!

Shannon Hartman

I really wish they had gone all-in with Kurt and Adam. The dialogue implies that they were a thing but they never really showed it. Do we even see Adam again after this episode? I feel like the writers were too scared to have Kurt or Blaine get involved with anyone else but it would've been more interesting if they did. Also I agree that this episode has AMAZING songs. I weirdly liked how they turned Unchained Melody into a duet. Ryder sings more in the studio version and it works really well.

Kristina

Thank you! And yes, it is ridiculous how easy people can read me just based on my facial expressions alone 😂

Gabi R.

Also- the scene where Santana pretends to make lines and snort them makes me absolutely ROLL 😭

Sophie R

I love the Rachel-Kurt-Santana in New York dynamic. Santana is a great friend to them even if she’s sometimes a b*tch and she is overall a very loving and protective person. This string of episodes (14-19) are some of my favourites just bc of the storyline involving Santana and plastic man (Brody)

Sophie R

I loved this episode and I loved ur reaction of it! The next episode is probably one my favorites of the whole season! The songs are 🤌🏻!

Hannah Alfond

This episode makes my love for Santana grow exponentially. She just waltzed right into that apartment, assessed the situation, and just let Rachel know the results of said assessment. She knows Brody is being shady and she is fiercely protecting her friends. Rachel just doesn’t see it yet because her judgment is clouded by plastic man.

Annie Willow

I love this episode! I dont really like santana. she is just to mean for my taste (i also dont really find her funny) and i liked it more with just kurt and rachel in new york, but she can be a good friend sometimes, and her voice is great. i dont have anything against adam, but its clear kurt doesnt really like him. i prefer jake and marley, then her with ryder tbh. im happy emma and will made up, i actually like them together.

stephanie44

1st, santanna is such a good friend, 2nd unique can do no wrong, 3rd your gonna love kitty pus pus in season 6

Luke Dennis

I couldn't remember what this episode was about and thought it may be because its a bad ep. MAN was i wrong😂 its a really good episode, the songs are so great, I even liked the plot (ESPECIALLY Santana. I absolutely love her storyline in New York!) Can't wait for next ep, the story is great (again, especially Santana and ESPECIALLY her song😍😍) and it has so many other good songs in it!!😍 and then, we're only 2 episodes away from my favorite EP in season 4! Can't wait!

patrick

the next episode is possibly my all time favorite episode lol

Jeanette Dawe

Fucking LOVE that quote!! Thank you for reminding me! and YES Naya is simply amazing! Such a full fledged talent!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Shut up! I'm not crying, you're crying hahahaha!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Made me cry it was so good!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Hey Gabby! Welcome to the family! First off, no your comment isn't too long. I enjoy reading ALL the comments from my Patrons and seeing you guys chatter amongst each other. And secondly YES TO FUNNY FACES! I've always sucked at poker because everything shows on my face...I even showing what I'm thinking while I'm writing this hahah!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yes they did!

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Yea I think he just was overwhelmed and was dumb.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Santana is Hilarious in this episode! I love her!

Georgia Beauchemin

That’s a good way to explain the kiss because I’m still confused by it a little. Will had a right to be out off by it but I think he overreacted a little. (As you will see next episode) Also idk if Kurt is fully dating Adam(Shakespeare guy) but I get what you’re saying. BTW, Rachel’s boyfriend is named Brody. But yeah, songs are amazing hers and I love the movie theme. It feels very fresh.

Selma Jabr

Yes OMG I do have it backwards, that is what I meant. Thank you for pointing that out!

Gabi R.

What happened with Melissa and Jacob? Do you mean Blake? Nothing that I know of happened with her and Jacob. I think you have that backwards

Benjamin Smith

This is one of my favourite episodes!! absolutely love the Come What May cover and yes the boys definitely won the mashup.

Gigi

I wanted to start this off by saying hi to everyone and that Audrey, I love your reactions. I only recently joined your Patreon and I find absolutely hilarious that all of your facial expressions and your thoughts mirror almost all of mine from when I first watched Glee. The music in this episode is great. I have to say I did like the boys mash-up better than the girls, which is unusual because normally I like the mash-ups from the girls better. Footloose always makes me smile because it reminds me of just how insanely talented this entire cast is. As for Santana, I absolutely adore her. She has been my favorite character from the very start. She's direct, brutally honest, and she cares about her friends, even if she doesn't always show it in the best of ways. This episode only further cemented how much I love her. It is so in character for her to root through the entire apartment, and the fact that she put everything back in the exact place she found it so they didn't notice only shows how attentive and calculating she is. The writers always did a good job with her lines, but Naya was the one who made them absolutely amazing and iconic. How she learned entire paragraphs right before shooting and keeping a straight face during her tirades I won't know. I guess she was just that talented. The fake snorting of the coke scene never fails to make me laugh, it's one of the scenes of hers from this entire show that I can never get bored watching. As for the Kurtana friendship, it's probably one of—if not my favorite—friendships on Glee. The scene at the end between Santana and Rachel is truly a promising start for a blossoming friendship. I really like Marley, and personally I ship her and Jake a lot more than I do her and Ryder, but that could partially have to do with everything that went down between the actors more than with the characters themselves. Either way, I think Marley fits better with Jake and I'm not too thrilled she told Kitty about the kiss (who I am also not a big fan of), but I guess I can understand why she did. Anyways, I'm sorry this went so long, I guess I had more thoughts about this episode than I realized. Audrey, I love everything you do and I am eagerly looking forward to the next reaction!

Gabi R.

That 'Come What May' cover was soooo good, I can't overstate how in love with it I was when the episode initially aired. Just so so sweeeeet!!

Tiffany T

I just loved this episode, especially all the fantastic songs. I cracked up when Audrey cried during "Come What May" because I totally cried right then too so you saying "Shut up, I'm not crying you're crying" was 100% true. I still listen to that version of the song on my most romantic songs playlist. My favorite thing was definitely the Kurt/Santana bonding. I was half-convinced that Kurt also knew about the pregnancy test just because of the way he went on about the She's Having A Baby movie. I do agree that "Shakespeare Guy" Adam (I'm gonna start calling him that in my head now) was WAY more emotionally invested at that point, and that Kurt needed to have a talk with him about where they were going or if he wanted to stay casual.

Jennifer Adame

The music is so good in this episode...The boys won that mashup...I love their mashup and still listen to it, but I don't really listen to the girls' mashup at all. I love Santana in this episode. I love how she lets you know that she knows your business without saying directly. She's such a master at that. And she tore apart that whole apartment and put everything back exactly where it should have been and they didn't even have a clue until she told them...Damn, she's got a photographic memory and a dedicated spirit when it comes to snooping. Plus, Naya delivering those paragraph monologues without missing a beat and her costars say that she would memorize them right before they would start shooting. I continue to be in awe of her endless talent. And she is just so damn funny with how she delivers her lines and her background antics. The pretending to snort cocaine in the background is genius and one of the most iconic scenes of the series. I love how she and Kurt are trying not to lose it during that scene. I love Kurtana and this is also when Chris and Naya really started to get close during filming. Also, that final scene that she and Rachel had together? Santana is really becoming a good friend. Poor Marley and Jake...I think she's just confused and not used to having anyone like her and now she's got these two guys that like her. I'm glad she was honest about it with him and didn't try to keep it a secret. Telling Kitty was not the smartest thing to do, but we got some pretty amazing lines out of it and Becca is also so good at playing the character. Oh, Kitty's quote that you wanted to remember. "Boys are like lumps of coal. They're dirty and cheap and they get hot when they're rubbed and some turn into diamonds. So collect as many as you can" I love what they did with Footloose and that choreography was amazing and having them all doing it in unison and on beat...this cast is so talented. I do wish that they could have somehow worked Mike Chang into the number since he loved Footloose (he suggested they do a marathon of the movies for their senior ditch day, lol).
