James Marsters comes into it in season two, he plays Spike and I love Rest in Peace, but then I love his character in general

Kate Baro

WOw! True devotee Cory! I'm glad I'm watching it with you <3

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

This episode is my absolute favorite of any episode of any TV show tbh. I love the absolute cheesiness and the fact that every song is 100% original and plot relevant. (They even give Anya a new song in a later season that she 'remembers' and I love it) "She ain't got that swing." "Thanks for noticing." "How can I repay-" "Whatever" Also the cinematic dust spray at the end as she hits her final note. Such a classic. I have the music/fact book that came out with this episode and it has all the sheet music and everything in it. I love it so much lol And ugh the plot reveal. Such a genius idea for a musical episode LOL I can't wait for you to view the whole thing.

Cory James

He plays Spike on Buffy. Rest in Peace is a song he sings in that musical episode.

Steph Stephens

makes sense

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

I love how u guys bring up so many information in just one comment, thank you <3

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Who is he?? For a second I thought he was dead

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

Rest in Peace with James Marsters is great.

Steph Stephens

I cannot wait to see her react to Rest in Piece and Walk Through The Fire oh, and The Mustard.

Cody M

I always love it when Audrey gets ahead of herself reacting to Glee musical numbers. "Who is this?" "Hang on, is that... Supergirl?" "Are these two together now?" "Wait, Mike Chang can sing? When did that happen?" etc.

Cory Stanish

Yeah Buffy has been through some shit leading up to this episode and that's all I will say.

Cory Stanish

OK First: In the sub-genre of "musical episodes," Once More, With Feeling is the gold standard. Nay, the platinum standard. 100% original songs that all tied in to themes and plot of what was going on in the season. And (this is key) there's an actual in-universe explanation of "Why the hell is everyone singing, and where is the background music coming from?" Fun Fact Time! Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in a commercial for Burger King in 1981 at the age of 4, seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ss7_5PSnyA As a result of the ad copy, she was personally named in a lawsuit by McDonald's for using the name of their restaurant without permission (she was 5 when this happened). The ads they'd already filmed for this campaign were pulled, and then Burger King made this holiday themed ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbtJIiBx3Ls (and yes, that is Lea Thompson and Elisabeth Shue in the ad with her) Anyway, after seeing that commercial and hearing her daughter sing in it, Sarah's mother decided, "Clearly I need to get this child some singing lessons at some point." She did take singing lessons at some point, and she credits that whole fiasco and the resultant singing lessons for whatever singing ability she was able to bring to this musical episode.

Cory Stanish

I can’t wait to see your reaction to Under Your Spell! Don’t worry the musical episode is many seasons later so there’s plenty of time until then to see them all again in context.

Benjamin Smith

to her voice power: its supposed to be monotone, shes just "going through the motions"

Karsten Hase

Swiss cheese memory will benefit you in this case! Well now I can't wait to see you respond to The Mustard (well, you might put that with another song - since it's only 10 seconds) and every other song in it.

Cody M

I’ll be reacting to all of them. It’s the way I promote it on my channel. But don’t worry, I tend to forget everything within two months 😂

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)

hell yeah, great song & video Just so you know, you might not want to watch any more of the songs - they have a *LOT* of huge spoilers for the series. It looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar has experience with kickboxing, boxing, gymnastics, and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do - https://www.thethings.com/sarah-michelle-gellar-martial-arts-background/ Also, with the musical episode they were originally thinking of having Jewel dub Sarah's lines, but she didn't want to be the only cast member to not sing.
