2023-06-02 08:02:03 +0000 UTCThis was a great 👍🏼 episode 🎬 but where was Mike Chang? 🕺🏻 It would have been better if there were more Mike, Mercedes, Quinn, Santana and Emma 👩🏻🦰scenes.🎬 Also, Emma 👩🏻🦰 did an amazing job with that song. 🎤🎶 Jake and Rider both fell for Marley around the same time, ⌚️ so it is easy to see 👀 the dynamic. 🫤 Marley and Jake would make a better couple if Jake was a better guy. And Brody is a total pro. 💵

Chris Colfer's supposed "friend" didn't even get his hometown right. No one associated with the show or the actors had anything to do with it, except Naya's father and I still don't know what he was thinking being involved. Kevin said none of the cast/crew were contacted and Chord said it was BS. The people who made it are literally making money off of other people's grief and they're talking about Mark as if he deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Cory and Naya. It's disgusting. Say what you want about Lea but she LOVED Cory. Anyone could see that. She tried to help him as much as she could. I mean she staged an intervention with Ryan Murphy which is what led to Cory going to rehab the last time. But the thing about addicts is you can't help them if they don't want to be helped. So please, do NOT blame Lea for that.

The idea of being safe because you're around someone else, like youre babysitter or sorts, doesnt make sense to me. BUT I know better from experience. Clearly she didn't. Thats just so sad. However it's good to reaffirm that HE made the choice to drink it. One of the first steps is to take credit for your own actions. He could have chose to say no.

I'm pretty sure I've never laughed harder than when you said Brody was with a hooker. Tbh the next couple of episodes made me really love Santana and Rachel's dynamic together. It really shows how they grew as people together (even though the actresses didn't really get along) but from where they started to where they are now...the growth. And then, like always, the writers squash everything I love with drama lmao

Leah Michelle encouraged him to have his first drink that caused him to relapse because he was "safe with her there". Well........ fits with her personality we've come to know about. I wish she'd more publicly apologized for her naivete, which is logical if she knew little about addiction, and encouraged others to learn before it is too late to help save their loved ones.

2023-03-27 04:47:22 +0000 UTCThis was my favorite episode of season 4, but it gives me such sad memories. I was watching this exact episode when I found out Cory had died. I was doing a quick rewatch over the summer so my boyfriend at the time could catch up before the 5th season started and then my mom called to tell me, I was DISTRAUGHT. Cory had improved so much in his singing in this episode and I believe it was a month later during the 4th season in March that he entered rehab. Oddly enough, my uncle passed away March 1, 2013 of a heroin overdose so the timing of everything was horrific, we didn’t know he had started using again. 2013 was a tough year for me. I enjoy this episode still, a lot more now, and I enjoyed your reaction. The 4th season in general was not my favorite, but it had some good moments.

Im pretty sure Naya mentioned in her book that at some point people started noticing Cory’s weight loss but he and Lea were also working out a lot together at the time so they attributed it to that until everything happened. I definitely agree with you that I think Quinn would have been such a better partner and storyline for Santana than Brittany. I feel like I’m the only glee fan that truly did not like them together. I know Ryan Murphy also hated the Brittana fandom so he purposefully wrote certain things into the scripts but I just never saw them as a healthy relationship to look up to.

My not so fun fact that nobody asked for: The day this episode aired, I was supposed to go on a Valentines Day date, got to the movies, and was stood up by the girl I was supposed to be there with. So instead, my mom picked me up, got my ticket refunded, and then I went home and watched this instead and I can say with certainty that this episode was better than the date would have been. I LIVE for the Quinntana content. My two faves getting good screentime? Amazing. Also, Emma's speedy song? So entertaining.

I know it sounds weird because they are different in many ways, but they're both very hot-headed and stubborn, and while Rachel is the one obsessed with being a star, they are obsessed with being the 'Queen B'. I think they would just end up driving each other crazy. I mean, we've seen all the slaps between them just from being friends.

It's fine that people have their fantasy ships but sometimes there is no real reason to ship them besides the fact that these are two people who are hot and have chemistry. Faberry definitely have chemistry but not necessarily sexual. However, it's true that Dianna has chemistry with everyone and could make anyone question their sexuality.

2023-03-25 20:23:56 +0000 UTCI too have wished that they would have had them explore Quinntana early on in the series. They had Quinn's pregnancy storyline that got in the way in the first season. I always had a feeling that Santana was way more upset about the Quinn aspect of it all and not just that Puck cheated when it was clear that she was cheating on Puck too. Plus, the whole scene in the hotel room at Nationals in season 2 when Santana and Brittany were comforting Quinn...I just felt like the way that Naya played Santana's reaction to Quinn's rejection of comfort sex (even if that's what she wasn't offering) was like Quinn had revealed something that Santana hadn't voiced out loud and left room for exploration. I mean, they were all close as a cast and they even asked Lea once about having her character explore with either Quinn or Santana and Lea asked why she couldn't explore with both of them (I mean...I would have said the same thing as Lea tbh). I always felt like the female-female pairings of Faberry and Quinntana and maybe even Pezberry would have been way better than the pairings that were given as canon...this is why fanfiction is great

The next episode wraps up lots of what you talked about in the end, and I think that the season goes downhill a little bit after it. Episodes 16-22 are still enjoyable, but they are mostly filler to get to season 5. Also yes, Finn getting skinnier is probably related to his relapse. These next few episodes are his last.

It’s an important number to Kurt and Blaine because season 2 episode 6 is the episode where they met each other. There are actually a lot o fun little Easter eggs in this show. This is one of my favorites because it is a subtle nod to Kurt and Blaine. I love this episode for so many reasons. Why is it that the second half of the season is where things start to get really good? I am excited for the next few episodes. There is some good stuff coming up. I forgot how bittersweet the love me love me not speech was and I love his little smile when Rachel takes the last petal.

I'm definitely more of a Brittana stan but Quinn and Rachel's characters would work really well together... they're more of a complex/cerebral match than Finchel. Truthfully, Quinn could work with almost any of them because there's something incredibly intense about the way Dianna looks at people.

It was nice to see them come back around to this idea when she actually turned up on the show.

Quinn threatened Santana to slap her again so, we know a lot of slapping went down that night 😏 . Mercedes was at Church but she wasn't at the party 😔 Mike was at the party dancing with everyone except Tina like seriously, they couldn't write a line plot two for them. Dinner of them doesn't even say as world and again no Unique, Kitty, Sugar.... I know it's a big ensem6 cast but they're always missed. Edit: I just realized Mike and Tina were dancing during We've got tonite and I would've preferred for them to hook up that night instead of Artie and what's her face. They totally ruined the hootel rooms sequence for me because they mean nothing to the audience.

So its totally impressive how fast Jayma can sing While Brittanna is def. my number 1 ship in glee, I did really like Quinn and Santana together. However, we sadly dont get any Quinntana anymore💔 Also, this is the last duet we ever got of Finchel. Man, watching their scenes made me tear up again :(

2023-03-25 16:01:12 +0000 UTCCory had indeed relapsed at that point but 4x19 is his last episode. I always cry at We've Got Tonite because it's Finn and Rachel's last duet on the show. One thing not a lot of people notice is during their talk before, Rachel took the last petal and that's why Finn smiled, because it meant she loved him. Even if Quinn was bi, I don't think Quinntana would've worked as a couple. But after that episode I get why so many people shipped them. I don't get Faberry though (Quinn & Rachel). During the first recording of "Not Getting Married" Jayma Mays actually had a panic attack. I wonder how many takes they had to do, but she absolutely killed it. And yes, Sue pissed me off. It's an iconic character but she got away with so much because she's funny and "tells the truth". Also Tina got off WAY too easy after the way she had behaved with Blaine.

2023-03-25 14:15:24 +0000 UTCLove this episode! First, I was glad to see everyone come back in some capacity. They must have loved being together again like this. And they gave all these subtle nods to the core relationships on glee, except for Mike and Tina...I really wished that that they had Mike interact with her in some way and help her realize how ridiculous she was being about the whole Blaine situation and they could have shown them being friends at the very least. And since they wrapped up the Brittana situation in the last episode, I would have loved to have seen Brittany's reaction to all this...I mean Quinntana is hot and I bet when she told Santana to move on, she certainly didn't mean with their other best friend...I agree with Audrey that Quinn and Santana are pretty well matched. They are both strong and powerful women on their own and when they let their guards down enough, they are such a force together. I wish they had Quinn go to NY too so they could at least explore the city together, but New Haven isn't that far away...also Naya and Dianna were close off set. Dianna has said that Naya was her first friend on set because she was the last one cast when they filmed the pilot and all their scenes in the beginning were together. They even went on holiday together (just the two of them) in Paris during their tour, so I can only imagine what they got up into together. And Dianna has spoken recently about how much she misses Naya. I think we forget that Ryder was totally into Marley when they did Grease and were pretty close to dating when she chose Jake. I really like Jake and Marley together, but Ryder's actions totally make sense to me. And Rachel with the pregnancy test...stay tuned. Given the timing of it, if it is positive it is more likely Brody's than Finn's because she and Finn had JUST slept together and it takes at least a couple of weeks after for it to show up on an at home test. And Brody has always been a ladies man, so we will see what happens with all that... And I think that Emma walking out totally made sense. There was just way too much pressure on her and Will was gone for so long and barely checked in with her. Can't wait for the next few episodes!

I have always wondered how things would’ve played out had they paired Santana with Quinn instead of Brittany. There’s been a lot of opinions on this regarding the first season with little hints dropped occasionally of Quinn possibly being at least bisexual but then dropped it in favor of Brittany.

A couple things I wanted to point out: Any time someone says Mercedes's singing style wouldn't fit Maria in West Side Story, I always think of her singing in Not Getting Married Today. She can sing so many styles. Emma's niece Betty was played by Ali Stroker, who was on the Glee Project and won a Tony for Oklahoma. I do think we are approaching a point in the season where Cory was dealing with rehab which may have impacted his consistent presence on the show a little bit.

I never actually made any connection about him getting skinnier. I thought it was just him getting older as the seasons passed and maybe a bit of them trying to make him look older and out of highschool. But, you're probably right. I always had a soft spot for Finn and his passing still hurts. Quinn and Santana had some great chemistry here, lol. I definitely can understand why people ship them. Though I really love her with Britt.

Even though there were/are fans who loved Brittana there were/are also fans that shipped Quinntana and fans that had the theory that Quinn was a lesbian or at least bisexual so to me it always felt like the Quintanna scenes were a nod to those fans in a way.
