I love Blane's voice in the Diva song I'm not musical by any means but the blend of their girls voices with his was a nice sound to me

2023-08-31 02:57:53 +0000 UTCExactly! Three things that stood out and made me hate Tina: 1. Her random attacking of Mr. Schuester and the glee club right before Nationals because she never gets solos. Even though she has shown almost no ambition to pursue one before then. Plenty of characters have spoken out about lack of opportunity to shine in Glee club and she has been mostly silent every time it came up. Yes, everyone can sing really well and Jenna's voice is so great, but I didn't feel Tina had truly earned the right to be that outraged. Yes Rachel gets almost every solo but she also works her ass off for them no matter how much people claim she's just "handed" them. 2. She viciously blames Marley for their loss at Sectionals. Several times she makes snide, harsh comments to her about it, even though it was a tragic side effect of the dangerous eating disorder Kitty gave her. Frankly I think they would have lost regardless. I hated Gangnam Style. 3. Tina sexually-harassing Blaine repeatedly both verbally and physically, and yet she demands that HE apologizes to HER? So gross.

2023-03-26 01:57:14 +0000 UTCLet's go back to WTF? Hahahahaha. I have dealt with panic attacks like that for years. I dont respond well to 100 things all at once and I can say that 95% of the time TV never gets it right. Emma's in this one looked real, and all though his method was not ideal. My drs have always told me before allowing it to reach the point she was in to focus on here and now in anyway you can. They told my son that was the way to help me until another adult could be reached, my baby was about 8 and witnessed probably the worst panic episode ive ever had, so I took him with me so the dr and nurse could help him understand what to do if no other adults were around. basically the 1 thing to do is stay calm and do something to bring you back to the present. Because those episodes at least for me have been all out hysterical and shaking and seeing 100000001 ways everything is gonna go wrong. Kind of feel like fin doing what he did brought her out of the attack.

2023-03-24 03:03:06 +0000 UTCWell it might not have been full when she gave it to him, but whatever way you look at it it's totally creepy and inappropriate, and she kinda gets off scot free. I don't know why they had Blaine apologise for not appreciating her when he repeatedly thanked her for her help and complimented her. What else did she expect from him? He wasn't taking advantage of her or using her. And she gets away without ever apologising for crossing the line.

2023-03-21 22:55:58 +0000 UTCHow they both emerge from train stations in awe of being in New York, and they are both wearing coats and berets. I don't know if it was intentional but it's a fun little detail.

Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)
2023-03-21 08:11:52 +0000 UTCI was also disturbed by the fact that he said the entire container of vapor rub was empty. That means she sat there for A WHILE straddling and rubbing his chest while he was drugged (yes cough syrup is a drug if enough is taken to the point where he passes out and doesnt rmemeber anything) It makes me not like Tina's character at all. Not cool that they wrote her like that

2023-03-21 08:10:03 +0000 UTCi felt Emmas breakdown but my version is always in my head, yet I look ok on the outside...until I get home or somewhere I feel safe. Thats when my body shows the struggle Everyone kept saying how Quinn was thrown under the bus by Ryan Murphy but I feel like Tina has been the one treated the worst with character parts

2023-03-21 07:43:13 +0000 UTCUnique is the total diva!!
Audrey McDonald ( Songs From A Suitcase)
2023-03-21 07:19:31 +0000 UTCNot sure how Unique didnβt get a solo during Diva week! Finnβs kiss was harmless, except well, in Willβs mind, then well, it was a dude kissing his fiancΓ©, soβ¦consequences! I actually wasnβt really taking Brittany and Samβs relationship seriously. They are not on the same level as Brittany and Santana. They are like playmates. Santana dated Sam also, so she should actually know Sam and what heβs like. So, no need to be jealous.

2023-03-20 23:56:15 +0000 UTCIβm so ready for it! Audrey is gonna FREAK when she sees Emmaβs song. I have heard that Jayma Mays got through that beast of a song in one take, but she was SUPER caffeinated doing it. Makes sense, because that song is HARD!

2023-03-20 18:28:43 +0000 UTCPersonally I love the Kurtchana (Kurt/Rachel/Santana) Bushwick loft dynamic. At first, it is a little bit crowded, and there is adjusting to be made but you will grow to love them as roommates. Plus this is where you really get to see how good of a friend Santana is to Rachel and Kurt. She protects her own and you get to see her support them. Especially Rachel.

2023-03-19 11:53:43 +0000 UTCOmg I have been waiting for you to get to the Finn/Emma kiss this whole season LOL! Your reaction did not disappoint. Poor Emma. I didn't like anything to do with Tina/Blaine nor how he subtly leads her on at the end by asking her out on a 'date' to the wedding. But omg I cannot wait for you to get to the wedding. You are gonna be so impressed. And surprised. It's gonna be great LOL.

2023-03-19 07:59:12 +0000 UTCI remember being so disturbed by the kiss originally when I first saw it. But, knowing it wasn't really a romantic thing and just something Finn did because he was unsure of what to do, it kind of made sense. Especially since he's young and it's likely something he had done before to calm down Rachel. Maybe even Quinn, lol. It's hard to know what to do in those situations and he probably felt in part at least like he needed to look out for her in Will's absence.
Jennifer Lawrence
2023-03-18 21:39:29 +0000 UTCFun fact: The definition of 'diva' that Emma reads aloud is 'AΒ fierce, oftenΒ temperamentalΒ singer who comes correct. She is not aΒ trick ass hoe, and she does not sweat da haters' is actually something someone wrote on Urban Dictionary. Straddling or not, Tina sexually assaulted Blaine. He was unconscious and she was rubbing his chest. Switch the genders and it wouldn't even be a question. While Finn kissing Emma was wrong it doesn't really creep me out, it was just unexpected. Out of all the s*** this show has done, that is not so bad. Emma having a panic attack about the wedding and him trying to calm her down and, not knowing what to do, he just kisses her. In context, it actually makes sense. Also, did you notice how Santana singing Girl On Fire parallels Rachel singing Roots Before Branches in the S3 finale?
Heida
2023-03-18 15:01:14 +0000 UTCI think NO ONE saw the Finn/Emma kiss coming lol, as of Santana, I mean yeah she shouldn't have moved in but for production and storylines values she had to. They are my favorite trio of the show, adding Santana in new york was great.

2023-03-18 06:38:19 +0000 UTCEmma's meltdown is both relatable and mildly triggering at the same time. I have OCD, anxiety, depression, and autism, and that is truly just how hectic that feels. That scene is like watching myself have one of my meltdowns and it's so hard to watch but I appreciate them showing that level of breakdown because it's so real. Santana's rendition of Girl on Fire lives rent free in my brain. That song was like.. a life altering moment for me. My mom plays it for me when I'm overwhelmed because it's such a calming force for me. Not the original, just this version. You 100% should react to Sam and Santana's duet. It's so underrated, and their vocals are fabulous. Definitely react to the WHOLE song though if you can find the extended version because there's more magic to be had in that than the shortened version in the episode. Tina being so predatory was so awful. It's so out of character in my opinion, and they just brought it in out of nowhere. If the roles were reversed the backlash probably would have killed the show. As a gay woman I know how gross it feels when men like to think that I'll "turn" for them, I dealt with that all through high school, so I can imagine how weird it must be for Blaine. For Finn and Emma, it was... something. I don't even know what to say about that. Your reaction summed it up, I think. Santana living with Rachel and Kurt is hysterical, so just prepare yourself for the shenanigans, fighting, and entertainment it shall bring. PS: Naya Rivera was a California girl :)

2023-03-18 05:50:56 +0000 UTCI love how you keep calling out Tina for her predatory behavior -- most women don't get called out for doing the things that we vehemently scorn men for doing, even though it definitely happens. I like that you called attention to how outrageous Tina's behavior would be if the roles were reversed with Blaine as the perpetrator. Tina having a innocent crush on Blaine is fine to me (hello, Darren is perfection!). Not to mention, she wasn't present during season 2 when Blaine had his identity crisis about whether he was truly gay or potentially bisexual. They didn't get close until season 4. She might be holding out hope that he could be bisexual as she clearly knows he's attracted to men. What isn't okay is that she acts on it and speaks on it (the worst to me was how she spoke to him during the "Naked" episode. Yikes.) She could have been sane and considerate the way Blaine is to Sam, but she crosses the line often, just to see if she can. Instead of talking to him openly and respectfully.

2023-03-18 04:46:05 +0000 UTCI agree with the unanimous opinion that Finn should not have kissed Emma, but I do think people tend to overreact to the plot line - it's not as insane or taboo as people make it out to be. 1. Finn is at minimum 19 years old now and not her subordinate/student. 2. The kiss was CLEARLY not romantic. 3. Finn dated Rachel for a long time, especially in high school terms. Granted, Rachel does not have OCD but she is very hyperactive, ambitious, & dramatic. It would not surprise me if Rachel went off on an emotional tirade or freak-out that Finn might have kissed her to get her to pause and calm down. I honestly think that it was merely a reflex, an instinct probably drawn on from his own experiences that made him kiss Emma. I don't like the story-line or how it plays out, but the kiss itself and the context behind it is DEFINITELY not as heinous as everyone blows it up into.
