2023-03-07 12:55:04 +0000 UTCNaya and Heather did an amazing job channeling the two stars in this song and each one was perfect. I loved the comparison and how well the glee version was done. They definitely could get away with the sexual chemistry and interaction in the glee version more so than in the original one. And I'm so glad that they had them dance together in this one. Naya channels so many stars very well and this is actually the second time she has perfectly channeled Madonna. The first was Madonna week when she killed the vocals in Like a Virgin. The extended version has her singing a whole verse that wasn't shown in the episode. Thank you for the comparison. It's nice to see the progression of how far the world has come.

2023-03-06 19:19:49 +0000 UTCWatching them back to back is interesting for sure. I thought it was pretty similar vocally, though I think the original was telling a more interesting 'story'. Can't say I like one over the other more, except I like that Naya got a chance to dance with Heather in the Glee version, and I wish that Madonna and Britney could have done something similar in the original. I know Madonna's got some skills as a dancer. She's no Britney but she could have kept up for 1 scene I think.
