I have a love hate relationship with this episode I love it because of Klaine but I also scratch my head at it because of certain plot points not present… like with marley’s thank u song to sue… unique wasn’t present for it out of all the new glee club members but kitty was also included? I think unique would have been there as well

Omg same and Brittany… 🤦🏾‍♀️ I lose brain cells watching them together

The episode is called 'Glee, Actually', a nod to the movie 'Love, Actually' that Sue talks about in the beginning: "The setting for a series of plot lines sandwiched between commercial breaks and wrapped up in a beautiful bow." Also, Artie's dream sequence is obviously inspired by It's a Wonderful Life. I actually love Feliz Navidad. It's one of my favourite Christmas songs. I love all the songs in this episode but especially White Christmas. The Klaine Christmas duets never disappoint.

Puck being back at the school to scope out girls is creepy in relation to the actor. For Puck himself not so much. He just gratuated, so he's supposed to only be one year older than senior girls. Making Sam ditzy was a horrible writer's choice but the hype about the end of the world in regards to a Mayan calender in December 2012 was very real. There were end-of-the-world-parties everywhere, even if noone believed in it. The internet was full of end of days stories and there actually were 'documentaries' about it on the Dicovery Channel, so I can see how they would make Brit and Sam believe. Being together in New York was a dream Kurt and Blaine shared when they were still together so I can see why Kurt would be hesitant about Blaine coming to New York. While Blaine is eager to move and to be with Kurt again, Kurt is still struggeling with his feelings for Blaine and isn't sure if he wants to get back together. And if not it would be hard to see Blaine every day at school. At the same time NYADA is supposed to be the 'best' arts school so he wouldn't want to keep Blaine from going there.

In the show's defense, I think we've forgotten what a big deal the end of the Mayan calendar was back in 2012. From what I remember you really couldn't escape the hype around it. I'm usually a skeptic when it comes to stuff like that but even I was curious if something was going to happen that day.

"Were the writers tripping on acid" oh just you wait there's some crazy shit that happens in seasons 4-6. But yeah I totally forgot this episode existed, but the rest of the season from here on out is actually better than the first half so I'm excited for that.

vince

I think it's hilarious that Teri scoffed at Will's paycheck even though I'm sure it said $5000 lol. That's a freaking lot for a teacher.

Nyada is the best performing arts college in the US i think they said and you can't have too many main characters in different locations it would be too much, so settling for New York/Lima storylines is the most logical option for the show i guess.

Gigi

The episode is made that way to imitate the movie Love Actually, which they hinted at in the beginning. Also Kurt does want Blaine to move to NY, I just think he was caught off guard and they are still figuring things out how they well as “just friends” at this point.

This episode has some good parts, but because of Sam and Brittany being together, it almost makes me depise it. For me, it takes away the good that this episode could have been. They took two characters that I've always loved and made them into this mess. Just like someone else said, every time they are on screen together, I feel like I'm getting dumber. It was ridiculous to put these two characters together, and it's a waste of the actor's talents.

This Christmas episode was insane but it’s not actually the most insane Christmas episode. Everything surrounding the whole Mayan apocalypse plot can just go into a black hole whole never to see the light of day again and I’d be great. Brittany and Sam are both not stupid and I hate that I feel like I’m even loosing brain cells when they are together. They need to both turn around and walk away from each other for good.
