Changing Platforms
Added 2023-02-11 06:10:18 +0000 UTCAfter seeing the voting percentage, I’ve decided NOT to move platforms. Hopefully Patreon can get its shit together and make a better platform, but we’ll just work with what we’ve got for now.

I've been unhappy with Patreon's "updates" lately and I wanted to see about changing platforms. I'm looking at another platform that is far more user friendly! It has chat rooms integrated right into the platform so no need for a separate Discord. It also allows for easier upgrades, live events, and just a more social area in general. I can also control the international money conversion so you get the current currency conversion.
However you would need to sign up all over again. That means creating your account and inputing your credit card info.
I want to know in all HONESTY if you would make the move to a new platform. Please be brutally honest! I know the effort to move platforms and input your CC is a pain and many of you wont do it. So I want you to be 100% honest. I need to get some TRUE numbers from this poll please.

1) The new platform is called Mighty Networks
2) We would have our own app
3) Yes you can tailor your notifications so you dont miss anything
4) I would find the current exchange rate from USD to your currency and place THAT as the price for the tier. USD to USD would not change.
5) I will NOT be raising the pricing.
6) I currently use this platform for my Backstage Pass members and they love it!
7) Oh YES all the old content will be transfered over to the new platform before we move so it's seamless.
8) Yes there's a desktop version and app version.

I must have made one years ago and didn't remember. But it's a bit wonky to use. I've noticed sometimes I'll reply to one person's comment but it will show my reply on a different comment. Not sure what's up with that lol. Hopefully, if you do change, you find one that works better!

I would for sure have to check out the platform before, but if it has all of your old and new reaction videos plus Paypal integration I will for sure come over

I wouldn't want to switch to another platform because then i'll have to pay for the new tiers which would be more expensive. I'm content paying $10 for the old tier and I am grateful for being grandfathered in, but I know that would change. If you tell me that you'd have the same tiers as you did before, then i'd do the move in a heartbeat. This is the tier I am talking about: LIVE CHAT + ALL ACCESS 3 $10/month LIVE CHAT + ALL ACCESS 3 (Movie, TV, Early Release) This tiers gives access to ALL TV Shows and Movies, Early Released Reactions AND Patreon Exclusive Replays. Each month Audrey will go LIVE and react to the paid songs requested within Patreon. All Patrons are invited to join this event, but only this tier and Superfans will be able to watch the replay if they can not make the live event. Get access to my videos the MOMENT they're done editing. I often batch my videos, so you'll get to watch several videos at once instead of waiting days, sometimes WEEKS, for my YouTube release.

I understand you need to do what is best for you but if that means moving platforms I will sadly have to end my subscription with it.

Also, I am linked already to MN with a community (that does not charge me), does that mean I will have to sign off from them or can you be linked to 2 communities on that platform? I am not opposed to changing the platform, but if I have to sign off from my community in order to do so I will not.

However, we could always just use Discord alongside the new one (since there's Discord integration - https://zapier.com/apps/discord/integrations/mightynetworks) Could you provide screenshots of what it looks like? There are a lot of websites where you can only subscribe with your credit card and stuff, and I dont have a credit card. I use paypal and I hope I could subscribe with it too, other than that I totally support the move

Since I'm a fairly new subscriber I haven't watched all the videos/watch parties. And if the currency would work in all countries. Also, is it only an app or is there a website too? My phone memory is so full I can't download new apps right now! But the fact you're even asking is more than most people.

2023-02-11 07:10:15 +0000 UTCI subscribe to a couple of other reaction type channels (blind wave, Natalie gold, the normies), and while they all have patreon, 2 of them have their own websites that they host their uncut reactions from, so it’s not too big of an issue for me. Plus, despite not being too active in the comments here or on discord, I do think your content is phenomenal, and def worth the small inconvenience.

At the end of the day, if you're not happy/enjoying something that helps you produce what you want, then some change might be the answer :)
