Just thinking back on their first performance together - Say a Little Prayer - compared to this. Quinn singing in her tiny little voice with Santana and Brittany lip syncing to the backing track to all three of them in equal spotlight with big full vocals exploding with confidence. They just make me so proud of all the progress they’ve made. Also I can’t wait for you to get to this episode and the one following, Audrey! We still have a ways to go though.

Definitely an upgrade from the original. Their harmonies are absolute 🔥 and they gave Naya more freedom to do her amazing adlibs. You can hear some of hers in the earlier version (from season 2). And yes, they aren't in high school anymore. With how they talk about their off set antics and dancing for each other in their underwear (from Naya's book). I wouldn't be surprised if this was something the three actresses envisioned themselves at an earlier time, lol.

This was Season 5… Brittany was in college. The lead up to this performance was Santana wanting to cheer her up b/c of the stress.

They aren't in high school anymore, don't worry lol. This song is from the middle of season 5. Santana and Quinn graduated at the end of season 3 and Brittany graduated at the end of season 4. 🙂 And this version of the song is SO good. Much better than the first version imo. 🔥

This is the essence of the Unholy Trinity! This is my favorite arrangement of Toxic, the slowed down Tango vibes are immaculate! The harmonies are out of this world! All three of them are on point and I just can’t get enough of this performance. Side note, when they are in their old Cheerios uniforms, they are in the choir room performing for the current and past New Directions. When they are doing the silhouette sequences, it’s just the three of them, dancing in hardly anything, being super hot and sexy, just for themselves. Another side note, Heather danced to Toxic on Dancing With The Stars.
