Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater - HDR Optimized Settings
Added 2025-08-27 15:12:48 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox, Playstation or PC HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has an average HDR implementation as it seems using a fixed Peak HDR Luminance of around 1.000 nits and only has a single in-game exposure slider.

Default "Display brightness" set 0 is overbright so I recommend to set it to -2 for all calibrated TVs/Displays.
If the game results being too dim for you, you can try using Dynamic Tone Mapping.
BONUS:
On Consoles: use the Performance (60fps) mode on XSX and PS5 Pro only if you have VRR enabled (as framerate won't be stable all the time), otherwise use the Quality (30fps) mode
On PC: You're also forced using the 30fps or 60fps modes. For most PCs use the 60fps mode and adjust graphics settings to be stable at that target. If you want an extra help, use my UET mod for it ;)
Enjoy!

I have Performance mode enabled in the game, but a lot of shadows look bad like pixelated on snake and other people. Not sure if there’s anything to do about that
