WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers - HDR Optimized Settings
Added 2025-07-24 09:37:59 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox, Playstation or PC HDR Calibration app settings.
After latest game patch, the game HDR implementation is now fairly good, as it now includes proper HDR sliders including a Peak HDR Luminance control (in nits) which can go up to 2.000 nits

If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
Set Overall Brightness slider to: 2.000 (nits; max)
> you're using HGIG:
Set Overall Brightness slider to: 800 (nits) or 1.000 (for G2/C4) or 1.500 (for G3/G4/C5) or 2.000 (max; for G5)
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
Leave Overall Brightness slider to: 1.000 (nits)
> you're using HGIG:
Set Overall Brightness slider to the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits" (up to 2.000 nits max)
In all cases set the (HDR) Brightness slider to 5 to improve the exposure of some indoor areas which may otherwise result too dark. Leave Saturation slider to Default as it already represent a good HDR colors' saturation.
BONUS:
On Consoles: use the "Balanced" graphic mode for better framerate stability as the Performance mode may have the framerate dropping too low (so also causing VRR flickering)
On PC:
- Disable Motion Blur and use Frame Generation instead (just make sure to start from at least 60fps before activating it) in order to fix ghosting when moving the camera while still looking smooth
- Use my UET Mod to improve performance, lower latency and have better clarity at the same time, all with no visual loss ;)
Enjoy!
