Saints Row (2022) - HDR Optimized Settings
Added 2022-09-04 08:36:11 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a fairly good HDR implementation by offering many different HDR sliders including Min/Max HDR Luminance control in nits value (up to 2.000 nits), along with HDR UI luminance slider and overall gamma settings.

If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set Display Min. Brightness slider to: 0 (nits; leftmost; it doesn't matter if it will hide the logo contrary to what the instructions ask)
- Set Display Max. Brightness slider to: 2.000 (nits; max)
- UI Brightness slider: Default
- Scene Brightness Slider: Default
- Set Target HDR Range to: Max (the value could vary depending on what Max. Brightness value you've set)
> you're using HGIG:
- Set Display Min. Brightness slider to: 0 (nits; leftmost; it doesn't matter if it will hide the logo contrary to what the instructions ask)
- Set Display Max. Brightness slider to: 800 (nits) or 1.000 (for G2) or 1.500 (for G3)
- UI Brightness slider: Default
- Scene Brightness Slider: Default
- Set Target HDR Range to: Max (the value could vary depending on what Max. Brightness value you've set)
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Set Display Min. Brightness slider to: 0 (nits; leftmost; it doesn't matter if it will hide the logo contrary to what the instructions ask)
- Set Display Max. Brightness slider to: 1.000 (nits)
- UI Brightness slider: Default
- Scene Brightness Slider: Default
- Set Target HDR Range to: Max (the value could vary depending on what Max. Brightness value you've set)
> you're using HGIG:
- Set Display Min. Brightness slider to: 0 (nits; leftmost; it doesn't matter if it will hide the logo contrary to what the instructions ask)
- Set Display Max. Brightness slider to: your TV's actual/real Peak HDR luminance (in nits, up to 2.000 nits)
- UI Brightness slider: Default
- Scene Brightness Slider: Default
- Set Target HDR Range to: Max (the value could vary depending on what Max. Brightness value you've set)
