STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order - HDR Optimized Settings

The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has a decent HDR implementation with an adjustable HDR Brightness slider which does not actually represent Peak HDR Luminance in-game + it will only act as a midpoint control.

The game will always stay in the range of 1.200-1.500 nits max.

For this reason it is suggested to use Dynamic Tone Mapping in order to offset potential highlights clipping and lost detail in bright areas.

Leave HDR Brightness slider at Default settings as it already corresponds to a balanced/correct exposure and gamma.

I'm sticking with FMM + HGIG on my G3 as well, so yes. Then yes, for this game try default but feel free to adjust shadows at your liking if they look off to you by default.

Understood, but for this game specifically, I have a G3 and have HGIG enabled in FMM. Is that the optimal mode for this game or should I use something else? And should I leave all settings default if I’m using HGIG in FMM?

If you have a pre-2023 LG OLED use Game Optimizer: then use HGIG (with Black Level 50) only if you always play in a dark room, otherwise pick DTM (with Black Level 49). If you have a 2023+ LG OLED use ALLM + VRR + FMM for gaming, then: use (the new) DTM for it (with Black Level 49) only if you don't want to mess with ColorControl via PC, otherwise use forced HGIG (with Black Level 50 and FTDA -2 instead of -4) You can always find the most updated settings here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/63754947

Should we be using DTM with FMM or game optimizer? What about forced HGIG in FMM? What should the settings be for that?

I mean HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping: On (not Dynamic Contrast nor AI stuff)

By Dynamic Tone Mapping do you mean HDR Tone Mapping? Dolby Vision? Because Auto Dynamic Contrast is greyed-out while in HDR10 w/ GameMode and LG's Ai settings OFF. LG version 03.40.87 on my uncalibrated 65" G1. When playing with XSX. Plugged directly into TV.
