Can I your thoughts?

I am in the process of doing a massive reorganization of several aspects of my art production.
I know I have problems keeping to timelines. I often believe and mean to finish a project within a specific time frame but, well, they often snowball into something much, much longer. I am learning that this is because I find my joy in the planning, crafting, imagining of new ideas - the production can be... well, best way to describe it is like a cicada's reproductive cycle, but on the scale of a couple of months rather than 20 years. Hope that made sense.
So, while I am undergoing this process, I wanted to ask you, my lovely bosses and patrons all, how can I improve? What do you want to see more of, less of? How can I communicate plans better? What do you think "Oh, Mr Scade, really, you should be doing THIS".
