You absolutely nailed how shitty 1970's UK was despite glam rock . I don't remember this case , was probably just a bit too young , but was shocked by the disappearance of Genette Tate in 1978 ....it was in the news for months, every parent telling their kid to be careful . Was the first such horror I can still remember, first time this kid realised the world wasn't safe .... and I'll say no more just in case . ...
