ExTheHex Volume #3: The Hex Maniac Story (Attempt #1)

I’m SexThehex. My name is focused around the fact I want to fuck a Hex Maniac. Why haven’t I written anything with her?

The short answer is plans that I’ve never really been able to fully act on.

Back in 2016, when my porn-writing fontanel was still soft, I started making Link and The Temple of Lust, a CYOA of nothing but bad endings with Link getting subjected to my many fetishes. Even back then seven and half years ago, I felt like it was a stepping stone. I would make a game for one of my favorite porn subjects at the time, Link, and then when that was done, I’d have enough skill built up where I could tackle my one true waifu: Hex.

Over the next year or so, I chipped away at the project between other stories, until the grand ~40,000ish words of the game were finally done. It was an exhausting affair, but about a month later, I wanted to try more. I mentioned in the first entry of ExTheHex about a nurse joy game. That was meant as a new warm up to make a proper hex maniac game. It didn’t go well; I should have just kept using twine, but no work on a Hex Maniac project was lost.

2018 came and I still wanted to make a Hex Maniac game. 2019 and 2020 too. 2021 arrived and I thought a little harder to myself about this. Making the Link game was hard, and tedious, and so much effort, and because it’s not part of my AO3 library, I sometimes legitimately forget it exists. I realized at that point it’d been 5 years since I started writing porno and I was still no closer to writing about my waifu than when I started.

In the summer of 2021, I had a bit more free time than normal, and took to an earnest attempt to get this deed finally done.

I started with a long outline with Hilda and Hilbert as a young adult couple exploring their relationship deeper. Hilbert would have troubles satisfying Hilda, and turn to Hex’s concoctions and potions as a way to get his girlfriend satisfied. Steadily though, he would become reliant on them. A potion that gave him a raging erection was now suddenly the only way to even get it up. Hilda, increasingly more a nymphomaniac every time Hilbert filled her with potion-corrupted seed, would grow far more needy than even his magic-boosted stamina could satisfy. That’s when Hex would step in to give Hilda what she needed, while Hilbert watched, until he needed to get dicked down by Hex himself. In the end, Hex would want them to pay back for all the pleasure she provided them, and make them Hex Maniacs just like her too.

Ultimately, it fell through because my plans were too ambitious, and my work habits not consistent enough to get there. These 2ish chapters alone were nearly 10K words, and the fire wasn’t hot as my free time grew sparse again. I had so many things I wanted to make, going back into the huge 10Kish pile of words and hoping I could find a way out didn't feel great. I also wasn't super happy with how little it actually involved Hex to start, and actually flipped the protagonists to Calem and Serena for a bit. I wasn't super confident with it. 

Balancing my actual adult job, fun, and writing has been a struggle for most of my time making porn. I’ve tried a few techniques over the years to get better at it, and have gotten some long term content I’m happy with. Church of the Unholy Ichor from 2022 is one of my best swings at that, but even then, it was hard to fully sustain. 2023 is the year I think I’ve really tackled it well making 50 stories, so hopefully more ambitious projects come out of 2024. Will Hex pop up? I dunno, maybe. This is the first attempt, left abandoned. There’s a longer, second attempt I’m happy with too! It’s also been left untouched for over a year, but there’s enough of a pulse there I don’t think I’m ready to dump it here yet.

I’ve shared my plans with Hex with other people, and I realize that I don’t *have* to give her something massive. I can write about her just mostly regularly. That option’s still open, but I really would like to spoil her with a big fat massive story something akin to this. For now, here’s essentially a complete first draft of the first massive chapter, a nearly finished equally huge second, and bits and pieces dropped around for where things would have gone. Enjoy!
