Added 2022-05-18 19:26:28 +0000 UTCAutodesk is ending the activation service for 3dsmax, including the 2014 version I am using at this July. This means that currently installed 3dsmax can be activated forever, but cannot be activated when installed on a new PC.
Autodeskは私が使っている2014年版を含む3dsmaxのアクティベーションサービスを終了するそうです。つまり、現在インストールされている3dsmaxは永遠に起動させることが出来ますが、新しいPCにインストールする場合はアクティブ化できません。
3dsmax comes with a software called License Transfer Utility, which allows you to pass activated licenses between PCs. However, this tool is somewhat unstable and unreliable in my experience. Actually, it sometime fail LoL.
3dsmaxにはLicense Transfer Utility というソフトが付属しており、アクティベートしたライセンスをPC間で受け渡す事が出来ます。しかし、このツールは私の経験ではやや不安定で信頼性が低いです。つまり失敗することがあります。
Well, you can (probably) use the latest or 2014 version if you pay $250 per month. I would pay the monthly fee if I had to, so as not to waste my past in-house tools for 3dsmax.
まぁ、毎月$250支払えば最新または2014年版を使用することも（恐らく）可能です。私が過去に作った3dsmax用のインハウスツールを無駄にしないためにも、必要があれば私は月額料金を支払うでしょう。
