Pausing January Profit + Future Talk

Until further notice, I will be pausing all activity on this Patreon, with the exception of December's posts. The reason is fairly simple; I created a Patreon under financial duress, and quickly devoted too much energy to it to keep up with my own work schedule. I've constantly had to prioritize Patreon posts over commissions that were making me the same amount of money, but for less work. It seems and sounds selfish, but the fact of the matter is a little bleaker than that.

I can't keep up with Patreon right now. Not while keeping up with Commissions or anything else.

Profit has something to do with it, yes. I'm making 3 images a month for a little less than the price of one, and I tend to lose support more than I gain it. That kinda backslide means I will be putting in more and more effort trying to retain less and less profit, and I can't sustainably do that.

I would love to draw here forever. I'd love to charge $1 and still make the amounts I need. I have 6k followers on twitter, so I should be on my way, but less than 2% contribute. I'd love to continue even with this, though, but I just can't. Life is too expensive.

So, until further notice, Patreon is gonna be on a paused billing cycle. I'll be finishing December, and then I understand if you wanna leave. I don't see this page getting a lot of use until I'm sure it's worth the time.
