Early Yearly Overview, bc this year sucked, but also for myself idk
Added 2020-07-21 17:31:00 +0000 UTC So, as I've said, this year was a bit of a trial run on a system where I do monthly themes, just to get a feeler for content and such and to see if I like that system.
Turns out I hate it.
Chief among the problems is, if I draw something like, say, Kass fucking Teba for one themed month, I can't follow up on it in the next month. I can only read the notes I get for about a week in advance, and that kinda sucks, because it means y'all miss out on the content you like, and I miss out on drawing something linked to an established idea, which is easy and fun for me.
The themed commission deal was also something no one really paid attention to later on. Perhaps I just wasn't picking the right themes, but I have no desire to sit down and try and read y'all's minds every month to be sure I'm finding a theme that's on top of everyone's minds, that has a lotta content opportunities, and that isn't too complex or niche.
So, with that in mind, I'm gonna be doing my themes on Patreon only now, and they will be voted for in advance, and more polls will appear for content specifics, yada yada. I'm gonna do some Patreon changes as well, but I'm not gonna discuss that at the moment.
The great thing about this year is, I've accumulated a lotta data on what y'all are specifically interested in, as well as what really gets me the due attention for the hours I spend on my art. I now know more specifically what y'all like and want, and ofc I'll draw what I want, but I know how to make some bomb ass pieces that will shoot off.
So, y'all have that to look forward to.
