Artemis Vs Apollo Dialogue Cut!

Here's the Dialogue cut (currently in 360p, might want to wait for YouTube to finish rendering) of Apollo Vs Artemis!!! Let me know if you catch any errors in the what I say (don't worry about the black screens and stuff from a few voice over spots). Just help catch errors. We'll be adding more graphics and B-Roll soon!

Artemis Vs Apollo Dialogue Cut!

Comments

Permanent moon base fuel station with maglev railgun to shoot H20 tanks (containers) INTO MOON ORBIT for capture -by orbiting (conservation of inertia) vehicles to proceed planetary. No atmosphere, higher efficiency, lower gravity, greater safety factors. Inflatable water tanks also provide solar and cosmic radiation shielding to the planets.

Hi Tim, Really exciting content and looking forward to the seeing final cut. Extremely detailed information just the way I love about your content.

Hi Tim. At about 25:10, you mention 'Earth's orbit around the moon'. I was concentrating on your explanations, so thought I was mistaken, till I revisited the spot. This is a great video, explaining tons of things I'd like to understand. My 1955 brain is getting a bit buzzed, but I'm really enjoying living in 'these exciting times!" Keep up the great work.

I love the long videos. Please never stop.

4:50 Observers can’t see other parts of the mission, but the astronauts can. So maybe point out you are talking about ‘observers’. As of 1966 the LEM was renamed LM (pronounced the same but spelled different) at 9:26 maybe don’t spell it out as the pronunciation didn’t change but the spelling did. Yes I agree with other comments on the glasses. I wear glasses myself. For your videos you should either reduce the glare from the lenses or maybe use a pair with no lenses. 20:25 spacecraft–LM adapter (SLA) was the name of the ‘fairing’ that protected the LM. They didn’t call it a fairing. 31:09 The computer errors would never have caused a failure. It was an error code that said the computer had not completed all its commands before it had to start from the top again. Yes it could have caused the engineers to tell them to abort but they didn’t. The commands that were not handled were the least important. That is why the engineer told them to ignore it.

I couldn't finish the whole video, but here are my 'nits'. Meaning they may not matter to most folks and you can decide if they distract from the flow.

When are you planning for it coming out

You reference a previous video in this one. Strangely, I'm not seeing it. Can you link?

I would prefer it, when talking numbers, to say “the Orion is 25% lighter than the Apollo” for example and not just shoot out plain numbers

The information is good but you sound rushed. Also there are several light/monitor glints off your glasses which are distracting.

Great video, even without any graphics you got my kids hooked and can't wait to hear you again, with the graphics...

It is amazing how much effort goes into making these videos. To me, not at all a space tech expert, your content and analysis is very well done indeed.

13:52 About the mighty Saturn V carrying the entire mission. You said "and the "lunar module" -- it should be more clear, possibly "the entire Lunar Lander and Lunar Module" ?? I love the discussion of the mobile launch tower costs! very funny. Rest in Peace. hahahaha. Burj Kalifa. haha Excellent. I can't wait to see all the graphics. At the end you mention the politics and at some point you mentioned the institutional avoidance of risk, due to space shuttle. That excuses a lot of crazy cost increases. I wonder if the commercial partners are suffering from that cost of avoidance of risk.

As if I would actually know if any information was wrong.

I listened to the whole thing and didn't notice anything wrong or weird. 👍

I learn a lot every time I watch one of your presentations. This one is a great example.

At about 25:10 you say "Earth's orbit around the Moon"

Tim, you never cease to amaze me, it's just fantastic. Even these long videos feel too short :) Thank you.

Lol right after abort
