Gryffindors are incredibly heroic, loyal and honorable. Slytherin isn't necessarily a bad house but it has reputation for being bad because lots of evil wizards started out as a Slytherin. You'll learn more in the future movies. Also Walder Frey's character Mr Filch is basically the school janitor. Glad you enjoyed it :)
